Grow Light Meter for Plants – PAR Meter with Accurate PPFD Measurement, 400–700nm Light Tester for Indoor Plants, Hydroponics & Greenhouse (Not Waterproof)

This works pretty much, though I have no other PAR meter (e.g. from Apogee) to test its accuracy. But I've tested it with some android apps that give close approximations of PPFD readings using my mobile phone's light sensor (i'm on a samsung galaxy ultra) and the readings are pretty close to this PAR meter's readings. Have yet to figure out how to secure further that cord that others encountered an issue with; I wouldn't want my cord to loosen or disconnect (fearful) as what others experienced. Overall, a good alternative buy!

We would be in the blind without it. We use it to adjust our 6 LED lighting panels in our greenhouse for the same light levels above the plant canopies. Cable restraint Based on other submitted comments, we mitigated the potential for breaking the sensor cable internal solder connection by attaching a loop of the cable to the back of the unit with velcro. That way, the velcro point is the point of cable stress, not the solder joints inside the unit. So far, no sensor cable breakage.

I like it cuz seems to work perfectly but how long it will last or the cost in comparison to the manufacturer cost to make it seems way over priced . Seems almost like eBay quality with premium price tag

Good value for the price. The sensor is a little wonky, but close enough.

I got this meter at the end of March and it broke with no cause contact the seller got a new one shortly after receiving it it started reading the wrong measurements I will have my light turned down as low as it can go and hung as high and it will say the par is still like 700ppfd when I check it with another meter it reads like 250-300 so it is off by almost double. Sad because it would have been nice to get a good meter for such a fair price to good to be true

Great umol meter, can’t grow without one. Had an issues with my meter. Unfortunately for me the warranty was about two months past the expiration date (1 year). I emailed customer service anyway which they responded immediately by saying that they were shipping me a replacement meter . Great customer service. I couldn’t be happier with their service. If you’re looking to purchase a par meter this meter is great at an great price

I love the PAR Meter! It is so helpful as I have many orchids which have different light requirements. Customer is service is incredible! They promptly and pleasantly honored the warranty when I had an issue.

This device is NOT user friendly. I had to do significant research just to learn how to use it properly.

The wire grommet out of the unit to the sensor pulled out of the body exposing the very fine wires to the sensor. Another review also noted the same problem. That happened after a week. The meter also reads considerably lower than a friends Apogee meter. You get what you pay for I guess. I'm in the process of returning it for a refund and they want me to pay for return shipping. Poor customer service!

Como medidor PAR me daba lecturas dudosas, pero las buenas lecturas algo tan barato no las obtiene. Y se rompió pronto. Los cables principales se despegaron. No vale la pena comprarlo. Terminé comprando un Apogee que aunque cueste el doble es mucho mejor, más duradero y más fiable.
