Work as intended
I have one of these on my 99 Silverado and on my 01 and 04 Suburbans with the 5.3L engines. They require the extension adapter for oil pan clearance. I tried one on my 86 Camaro with a 350 SBC engine and the threads were incorrect for some reason. The valves work great with no leaks.

Neatest thing since sliced bread
So I was a technician for about 35 years, first on BMW and then Subaru for a couple years. This is the Third easy drain I have purchased. First for my Ford flex, then for my Subaru Crosstrek, and now for my big Ford transit. The Ford flex gets its oil (changed every 7500 miles I installed it a little over Four years) 40,000 miles ago you do the math-no leaks at all, clean as a whistle, and I can reach under to change the oil using a low profile drain jack required.Same thing with the Subaru, however I drive the hell out of the Subaru so I have absolutely no idea how many times I've changed the oil and filter in it but it's been a lot, 20? 25 times? Same deal works as well as the first day I installed it.And now I've installed one on my transit. And with the 90° angle and a piece of silicone hose now when I change the oil it won't splash all over the subframe and the inside of the right hand tire. And again I can slide right under and change the oil no jack required.Basically what I'm saying is these are awesome and a must have. Not only for ease of use but it saves wear and tear on the threads in the drain hole especially on aluminum Oil pans. Which makes these well worth the money.

Love it
Works great. No worry about splashing oil or missing drain pan and slows it down so it doesn’t fly everywhere.

Ball valve leaks
Installation was easy, but the elbow does not face down, but rather to side. I can get over that. The seal at the oil pan is tight, but the ball valve release fits leak with 5w30 high mileage full synthetic oil. I have to keep kitty litter on top of cardboard to keep my garage floor clean. Bottom of my car has oil splatter from drips spattering while driving. I will undoubtedly have to add oil before the next change to maintain proper oil level in my oil reservoir. Disappointing. I'll go back to the OEM bolt at my next oil change.
