Merrick is a 5 star brand, and I've bought my cat several products by them. He likes the Purrfect Bistro Salmon more than he did the Before Grain #1 (Chicken) so I switched him over full time to this one. Quality product, but my picky cats hated it! The stray cat that I feed turned his nose up to it as well! Gave a bag to my sister, not sure how her cat did with it.

My cat is OBSESSED WITH Merricks. I had originally tried the kitten food because it was the first one I found, and when my cat was no longer a kitten we tried out the adult food and won’t buy from any different brand.

I like to see my cats eat this food, they really like it. The only thing I personally don’t like is that so much of it is powdery size. Too much is broken into small and powdery substance. Hate to throw out so much of it.

I am not sure if the problem is with Merrick, or with shipping and handling somewhere along the way, but the last 2 or 3 bags I bought from Amazon have been very bad quality. The pieces are small and broken with lots of crumbs/dust. My cats don't like food in these bags when they have been previously eating it without issue. I am going to have to start buying it somewhere else or switch brands.

I have a very picky cat who would refuse even some very nice brand cat food. She loves this food! It's a bit more pricey than grocery store brands but less expensive than vet brands. The ingredients are much better than some similarly priced food. We'll definitely continue to buy. Also, the dog likes this brand of dog food too.

I've been feeding this brand to my cats for years. They love it.

My cats loves the salmon flavour of this food. I find it hard to find it in stock at Petvalu or Global Pet Foods. I'm so happy I can get it on here and have it delivered every month. I've tried the duck and chicken flavours with them, but they are picky jerks so I switched back to this flavour.
