Bucilla Noah's Ark Felt Stocking Kit, Multi Color

My daughter made the stocking for me and it is exquisitely beautiful.

Made for a granddaughter’s first Christmas, so she hasn’t received it quite yet. Like all Bucilla stockings, easy to assemble with good directions.

I have made 10 of these types of stockings, so I know what is right with the kits and what is not right. This particular kit has embroidery floss that is substandard and weak. I had to throw away the black and red floss and buy fresh because it the strands continually broke when I gave a tug to tighten the stitch or fasten the sequin. There was not enough white floss supplied to attach all the snow and sequins. The design is nice but the floss is trash. I would not recommend a purchase of this design.

Love this stocking kit ! I made it for my granddaughter. It's something special from her Mimi. Came out great !

My family loves these. They are a family tradition and keepsake. Easy directions.

The most frustrating part was the sequins, which are somewhat flat so that you sometimes have a hard time figuring out which is top and bottom. Some sequins are misshapen or have off-centered holes, especially the white ones. You need to check them all because some have the underlying metal already showing through. You waste time trying to find good pieces.The beads can have strange shapes but usually that doesn’t matter. I think the directions missed a step.It would’ve also helped if you were directed to satin stitch the top of the Christmas bulbs after you attach them to the stocking. Trying to satin stitch them before hand is nearly impossible.At the end, the stocking is absolutely darling. The artist was very skilled in portraying a happy bear family.

I started this two weeks before Christmas for my best friend's little girl and I had zero hope going in that I would be able to finish it by Christmas, but it's easy to assemble and it turned out great. The only thing was that I did ditch the script of the name because I didn't like how it looked, but I used left over sequins to add her name and it turned out perfectly.

Package contains everything that it says - plenty of cotton, sequins and beads. Great value

Very disappointing as ordered to go with previous stocking I had bought from Bucilla. The colours shown are completely different than advertised even photo that came in packaging is different from felt supplied. Did e mail and tell them but they were going to make quality control aware which is not a lot of help to me. Definitely doesn’t match my previous stocking colour wise.

Item arrived sooner than expected. Can’t go wrong with Bucilla products.
