My flower bed soil is a nightmare to cultivate, have used this multiple times times, excellent for planting bulbs or small potted garden plants.Use several times in close proximity & you have a hole good enough for larger plants.Ensure you have a tight grip on your drill or you might end up spinning round yourself if you catch roots! Very sturdy , likely to last years of operation, highly recommend

I purchased this to assist me in making holes in the ground to plant tree saplings easier in tough ground.It was taking too much time and effort to dig holes in hard ground that I attach this to my drill and place it into the ground. It is very quick and does the job. Only down side is that you have to pull off the dirt sometimes where I think it goes round so fast that it clogs up.But despite this, it makes the job so much easier.It fits well into the drill and is very strong. Comes in two sizes, which is great as I have since used both.

The WORKPRO Auger Drill Bit Set is an amazing tool.I’ve only used the 4 x 22cm auger bit, but it made light work of drilling several holes in my lawn to accommodate the ‘Mega-Sonic Mole Repellers’ I had bought. I was expecting it to struggle, as I had struggled to make a suitable hole in my lawn using a hammer and heavy duty cold chisels, but the auger bit drilled a perfect sized hole with no effort at all.Some of the other comments mentioned that it struggled with heavy clay and rocky ground, but on my lawn, it performed perfectly.

Superb. I have very rocky garden soil so digging can be tricky, even planting bulbs. I'm very impressed so far, after a quick trial with the smaller of the two drill bits. The bits seem solid and well made and came packaged with care.

Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.Worked really well and turned a big job into a manageable job. A couple of DIY-ers, we managed to do a row of 11 fence posts in 2 days. Lots and lots of breaks in between ....... would absolutely recommend buying an augur if you need to do some fence work.

Is a ok product not amazing but is for a garden jobb is perfect, the material of the drill is a little bit not the best but for the price is good

Only used these once on soil that us full of roots and quite impacted. It is not quick and I did not want to put a lot of pressure on it for fear of burning out the motor on the drill. However it will do the job slowly but surely. I would say that if you don't like bending over it would be better to get one with a longer shank.
