I added a nickel played copper strap to the bolt wire attachment point. I clip my ground clamp to that. It will hold my largest ground clamp easily.

This is one if the best things I ever bought for welding. I had surgery on my disc in my neck and haven't got full strength yet and my ground clamp was so dam strong, I had problems getting it on larger work pieces so I bought this.. way easier for me and sticks to odd shaped pieces and it can be turned on or off! Works great!!

Not great not bad,.. would not buy again at the same price,.. maybe at 15usd.I was expecting a stronger pull force, (the weight of an attached cable es enough to make it detach from surface), like that on other switchable magnets I have bough (like those squarish used for measuring tools)

So far, it has no problem connecting a ground for my welder. Seems pretty good

As long as there’s a good surface to attach this to, it works well. There’s a lot to be said about using the clamp, especially on dirty or semi painted surfaces.This provides a solid ground as advertised however I would like to see the magnetic field being a lot stronger.

Update. Magnet stopped working. Downgraded to 1 star.Using this to weld my pipe fence and gates.Knob does not stay locked all that well.When it is locked it can still fall off the pipe. More than a few times I've gone to start a stick and realized it fell.Will buy the name brand.

But just by sticking it to a metal surface,there's no way this is a 66 lb force pull maybe 10. I know it's not meant for lifting, but says 30 kilograms 66ft lbs of pull force I'd expect to have to turn the magnet off to get it to detach. Not the case at all
