I am 56, so I am not new to wearing a bra....or measuring myself for one either. Been doing it for decades. I needed this bra because I have torn my rotator cuff & needed a front closure. The ad indicates true to size. I measure at 36 1/2. So I decided to go with a 38. Ya know....to be on the safe side & to not have to struggle getting the bra on. Well I'm in it. I decided to quickly write this review before I pass out from the constriction & the bra's interference with the free movement of my diaphragm. (Lack of oxygen has got me feeling a wee light-headed!) The bra is pretty, & doesn't dig into my shoulders! Maybe I should take this as a sign to lose weight?! 'Cause it's gonna take weight loss or the jaws of life to extricate me from this thing.

It’s always been a big challenge to find bras that fit and do what they advertise. THIS bra is the answer to everything. The back support feels amazing! It lifts up your breasts and gives immediate relief to your back. I cannot believe how much a difference a good bra makes. I highly recommend this bra to anyone who has D cup and higher. You will feel and see the difference. No regrets about this item. I am purchasing more ASAP.

I bought this bra looking for a comfortable bra that would have straps that would not fall off my shoulders. The straps are perfect, no complaint there. However, I normally wear a 38D and it was too tight. The cup size worked fine but I do not care for the shape of the cups. They push you into a more pointy shape than I am used to. Reminds me of the bra shape in the 50's. I normally wear Victoria Secret's Body By Victoria full coverage.The back support is nice and the back portion is very comfortable. There is enough coverage that there was no bulging. The part that was uncomfortable for me was the front where it connects. The bottom of that part of the band was digging in and after several hours I had to take it off. It is my first Playtex bra so if you have already tried them and like them then you will probably like this one. It is just not for me.

I like the bra, it fits well and is quite comfortable to wear. So, while it is comfortable and made for the larger cup size, the material doesn’t hold up. I just noticed after the latest wash two worn spots almost holes (see photos) at the top of the cup where the strap attached to it. On the outside, the inside still seems intact. I’m quite disappointed.Considering I bought this in January of this year, I would’ve expected better of a named brand like Playtex, I won’t be buying another.

I initially bought a 40D and band was to tight and cup was to big at the very top of the cup, but that's not the bras fault, mine beats have gone wayyyyyy SOUTH and they are NOT coming back! LOL! So I exchanged/returned for a 42C and is a perfect fit! My Dr. wanted me to get the smaller band size because she said a 42 was to big as she could get 2 fingers under the back. But after trying the 40 it was to tight to be wearable as I have Scoliosis and Kyphosis which makes my back have a big jump like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. This was all due to an accident 6 yes ago. But the "posture" part in the back does help my back vs a regular bra and is much more comfortable. I hope this helps someone out there...and one more thing...I have had a few issues with the closures wires either being to tight to hook or to open to stay hooked. So all I did was get out a pair of needle nose pliers and opened or closed slightly and both worked. Tweezers will work also. Have a BLESSED DAY!!

just tried it on for the first time, if anyhing changes i will change review. i had to really pull to get the bra closed - and i ordered my normal size 38c. but it wasn't very hard. then i noticed there are 5 front hooks - but they didn't take long to close. kind of reminded me of a corset in that way, with the many hooks. my boobs definitly feel uplifted and a little squooshed together. i love the way my boobs look under my dress now - they look a LITTLE smaller, which i actually like, and higher, which makes me look younger. i am under 40 but i have always been naturally low set. if this keeps its shape, i will be ordering more. i always have trouble finding the hooks in back bras, so i looove front close bras but i found other ones i tried weren't very suportive. this one's great, so far.

I like this bra very much! I'm ordering 2 more. I was looking for a front closure bra and have tried 3 different kinds. This is the only one that fit, had a good shape and was mostly comfortable. I wore it for 2 days straight just to make sure is was going to stay comfortable, and it has. The only drawbacks are that the straps are too close together for my taste. I keep having to move them back to my shoulders (I guess they'll never slip off). And the bottom of the closure digs in a little, from my experience most front closure bras do.

To begin with, I do not like Playtex bras, but at least this one is a one star while other back support bras I've tried are minus sooooooo many stars there is no way to describe them. I had to go up 2 band sizes and down 1 cup size. It's a very unflattering fit.Also I'd like to know, if you have a large bust, why are the bras so long in the front? I'm barely 5'3" with a short torso, and every bra especially the back support bras are uncomfortable between my breast because the bra is so long it goes to my stomach. The adjustable straps mostly just pulls the back up. NOT COMFORTABLE!! Over the years, I have found a few regular bras with a little stretch between cups that are more comfortable, but I have to really look hard for them.Companies make short sizes for other clothing items, why not for bras?

Over the past few weeks, I’ve ordered about 10 bras and sent them all back...this one arrived an hour ago, I tried it on, and now I don’t want to take it off. I desperately needed back support for chronic upper back pain, and this bra is already giving me that. I didn’t expect to feel such relief so quickly, but it’s there. I have tried numerous back braces, supportive bras, etc, but nothing worked. This is what I’ve been looking for. It isn’t the size the sizing chart indicated for my measurements though, that “right” sized one was way too small and had to be sent back. So I took a chance and went up a band size, and stayed with the same cup size I’ve been wearing for years and it fits. What I learned through all of this is that every bra fits differently even when they’re the same size, and even when I measure very carefully according to each brand’s measuring chart. A 44C in another style was too big for me. It really Is trial and error.

Great support for the girls AND my back, no wrinkles or pulling, and a nice, round shape for my boobs. (Why do so many bra makers think we want our boobs to come to a point? Think orb, not cone)I have a frozen shoulder so I can't do up a bra that closes in the back. It's super difficult to find a good quality, comfortable bra that closes in the front, especially in plus sizes. This bra is my favourite of all the bras I have recently bought, and the price is reasonable too. Not cheap, but reasonable.

I was worried about the sizing as I hadn't worn a Playtex bra in decades (I've worn Lane Bryant exclusively for 15 years) However, this fit me perfectly in the same size as the LB!For the past 2 years, I've had chronic bursitis in both shoulders; putting on a bra is AGONY. Foregoing one is not an option for me as I have a large cup size and, at 46, need a lot of support.The straps are comfortable, wide and are elasticized in the back. It's easy to get on, and the back smooths out easily; something I was worried about because I am unable to reach back and adjust it.I can see this style being my go to bra so I will definitely purchase more. Especially at Amazon's prices! Very VERY happy!

I know my bra size was correct but when it arrived it was extremely tight on the bust and very difficult to hook up. I know it's supposed to help posture, but it was too small and bulging at the front where it does up. I'd hoped that, if it was a good fit, I'd invest in some more. Sadly, I won't be.

I love this Bra. It's all that the Seller says and more. Fits well and is very comfortable. Helps with my back pain between my shoulders. It's very well made. I will definitely be ordering all my bras from here again. Thanks for the fast delivery. ..
