Where can 3rd party ink for the wf-7820 be purchased?

Always use EZ ink. A lot cheaper and seems to work better than Epson ink. Been using for years on my Epson XP 8390 and never had a problem. Every printer will be different so check the internet to see if off brand ink will work. And make sure that an update will not change anything.

Does the tray actually hold 11x17? My current WF printer has small trays and the larger paper sticks out.

Not only does the tray hold 11 x 17 paper, but the PDF does as well. This is an important detail as not all printers that can print 11 x 17 have an ADF that can take paper that size

How long does the ink stay viable before it dries up and clogs?

I am using this for business. I've had the copier for almost 90 days and have just replaced the black ink cartridge. It has worked seamlessly so far.
