Finally, a way to stop losing socks behind the washer and dryer!
For years, I have been lamenting about the fact that the four of us seemed to be constantly missing socks after they went through the laundry. My younger son, who has the job of getting the clothes out of the dryer, was piling the clothes on top of the dryer so he could sort them...and in the process, clothes fell behind the dryer. After several years of using yardsticks or trying to pull the dryer out to squeeze behind it to get the lost socks, we finally came upon this great fence of sorts to put around both the washer and the dryer. I feel silly that I never searched for this until just recently. The set of sturdy plastic sections were easy to set up, and there are magnets on both the back sections as well as the ends, so the guard does not move or fall backwards when in place. We are very happy with this Laundry Guard. It's so nice to have pairs of socks again!

Works perfect!
Always skeptical of this stuff. This one was a winner. These took 30 seconds to assemble. Open box, pull out. Slide the white pegs from one side into the waiting cylinders on the other piece to form a corner and done! Attaches to washer/dryer via magnets. No tools, hardware, or instructions!Arrived in perfect condition, no smell, no scratches, very sturdy and well made— perfect size to be useful but not look like fencing.Only negative: our front loaders (2023 Samsungs) are about 2-3” apart. The gap forces these about 2” in from the left and right edges, respectively, but don’t care- keeps everything away from the very edges even more.Great value for the cost and an excellent add to our otherwise un-noteworthy laundry room.(No wicker baskets, nice paint color, or shelving here…)

LOVE the product; however...
First of all I want to make it abundantly clear that I love this product and it has solved a host of annoying issues for me.I really wish they offered either sets that surround the washer and dryer separately, or an extender for between the existing sections they have now. Due to the plumbing disaster in my house, I can't stick my washer and dryer together so that they are practically touching, which is what this product needs in order to fit together. As a result I have to place the edges of this an inch or two inside the edge of my washer and dryer, which looks kind of hokey and cuts down on usable space on top.Overall, it's a great product. The magnets are small but surprisingly sturdy when you have the entire thing connected. More magnets might offer more stability. Biggest gripe is just the lack of an extension, which likely isn't a problem for most people.

Does exactly what it says it does!
Very happy about my purchase! Easy to assemble, magnets are strong and the best part of it, no more losing things behind the washer and dryer! I found the quality of these to be better than others I’ve seen so didn’t mind the $30 price. If you want cheaper you get cheaper. Fit perfectly on my LG front loaders. Thank you so much!

Good quality but needs 6 more magnets
I bought the slate gray for $ 29.95I don't like leaving a three star review for this laundry guard because it's a great idea and the quality is good. BUT it is easily nudged out of place because there is only one magnet on each section. The good - The color matches my washer and dryer. Each section is sturdy. It was easy to assemble.BUT - it needs 6 more magnets!I tested my washer and dryer with my own magnet before placing my order and both machines are magnetic. The magnets in the guard are strong. But each section only has one magnet. Just a nudge will move a section. In the picture you can see that the bottom of the back sections have are 2 additional slots on each piece where magnets are meant to be placed. Retail for 6 additional 10mm × 10mm × 3mm neodymium N35 magnets is $1.50. That's 2 extra on each back piece and like it was designed to have and 1 extra on each side piece. So yeah, Haus Maus, please improve your good product by adding those 6 magnets and really make this laundry guard awesome.I have 10mm × 3mm round magnets and I just glued 2 to each back section and 1 to each side section. But it is frustrating to buy a good product that just needs a slight change to be an awesome product. I hope Haus Maus reads the reviews.

No more lost items fall behind the washer/dryer because of this product!
No more having to jump on top of my washer/dryer with a long handled clipper in one hand, and my phone in the other, to search for missing items behind the washer/dryer, with this amazing product. Plus, it adds a touch of class to my laundry closet with the gray color. The magnets on the bottom of the product, hold it tight to my washer/dryer, so it doesn’t move. Being short of stature, this has made doing laundry, less stressful.

Works great, but I have 2 product suggestions
First, I think this is a fantastic product and I'm glad I purchased it.I bought it for the top of my freezer. We store things up there, like boxed snacks for kids' lunches, a folded pile of rags, and other various items (this is in our laundry room and mostly out of sight). It works fine, but the width of the freezer is greater than a single back piece, but much smaller than two back pieces. I ended up rubber banding the two back pieces together and it works fine (see photo). My 2 product suggestions:1. Make the back piece a slider so that it accommodates almost any width.2. Add more magnets. It's held up fine so far, but I feel like it could get pushed off if I'm rummaging around for stuff on top of the freezer.I realize these ideas would add to manufacturing costs and would force a higher price point. For me, that would have been fine! I would have paid five bucks more, no problem.Contact me with a prototype! I'm happy to be a tester!!
