dont fall for the red colour as all of them are yellow

Very bad product. I purchased for twice to double check. But zero germination for both the cases.

In place of red flower,simple sunflower seeds were there,only 8 seeds were their in packet and out of 8 ,only two seeds germinated.Cost which I paid was 200 Rs.,means I got two 🌻 seeds in 200Making people fool.

Not a single seed germinated.Total west of money, don't buy this product.

Seeds were written to be returnable for 10 days but they are not returning the order..as seeds are not of good quality.

Seed germinated & Grew quite fast after only 5 days the seedlings are busting through.However have given them a boost in the first stages of life.Planted the seed in an half egg shell filled with compost & the seed in there,Enzymes from the eggshell give that extra boost.Seedlings look healthy & coming on leaps and bounds after just 5 days.(That's being kept In the kitchen windowsill & watered a touch every other day.Will harden off outside and plant out once they do get to a good height.The beauty is the whole egg can now be transplanted instead of pricking out each seedling

I was watching Little Shop of Horrors recently. I liked the scene when Seymour goes into the Chinese plant store and there is a total eclipse of the sun and when it is over he sees a strange and unusual plant. Now I really like strange and unusual plants and these Chinese red sunflowers fit this category perfectly. They did take quite a while to arrive but when they did I planted the seeds straight away in some compost in the greenhouse and a couple of days later they started to pop up. In fact they ALL popped up. All 82 of them (I counted). This gave me a dilemma as they quickly outgrew the pots that I put them in and I had to re-pot them after a week and some of them were tangled together so I had to pull them apart. They are now in larger pots and I am quickly running out of space in my greenhouse. I will soon put them out and I anticipate there is nothing I can do to stop their propagation. I literally can't wait to see them in full bloom as I will be the envy of the neighbourhood as the only person on the street with red sunflowers. Lots of them. I did cut my finger the other day and I could have sworn that one of them twitched. But then I might have imagined it.

I was first impressed with the seeds, and they grew very quickly. I've spent money on feed, compost and pots, to then find out these sunflowers are mostly yellow! 1 had flowered red, rest are yellow. Waste of my time and money.

Unfortunately after planting 20 seeds, 12 of which germinated, I only have one flower to show for it by as pictured. I planted in the ground and the slugs got them. The wind also got them. The yellow ones I planted in pots and they have flourished growing to 8-10ft tallso lesson learned.Compared to the yellow they are very leggy even in full sun and the stalks are significantly thinner even with ample spacing, hence they didn't stand a chance with very strong winds. So for next sowing, they will go in pots in a sheltered but sunny area.Hopefully next year will have more than one to show for it.

i've become a bit obsessed with these giant sunflowers and i have to say looking at them after about 6 weeks i think they are going to be huge. I am guessing in about 4 weeks time they will provide me with sufficient cover to stop seeing my neighbours when they walk past. Much more subtle than my other plan which was to brick out my front windows. This is a great multi purpose product. go for it.
