Sometimes you wonder if you're really going to get what you order. Strongus sent me what was promised and that's not easy to say these days. Will be buying from them again.

The package I got smells fantastic. They are about 5" long and moist enough they can be cut lengthwise. These were not moldy, or dried out as some Amazon reviewers had posted about other sellers products. Happy Customer

I was very pleased with the quality of these vanilla beans. They arrived quickly and safely. My whole mailbox smelled delightful! They are shrink wrapped for airtightness and freshness. They were all over 6" and in perfect condition. Soft, fresh, pliable, plump and full of vanilla seeds. I used all 12 in a 750ml of vodka to make pure vanilla extract. I split the pods lengthwise, then dropped them into the vodka bottle. I will store in my pantry and shake every few days. Ready in 3 months...but truly delicious in 6 months. I made over 3 cups (750ml) of pure vanilla extract for under $20. Considering 8 oz of pure vanilla extract is anywhere from $15-$30, I am happy. I highly recommend giving these wonderful beans a try.

I have ordered three different brands of Madagascar and tihitian beans for making vanilla and these. Are by far the best batch. Very plump and juicy, pliable, and stuffed with beans. Some of the others I ordered were very dry & hard to work with. I hope this is the norm for this brand as I will be ordering more!

The beans arrived well packaged. They are very fragrant when opened and the perfect addition to our homemade vanilla bean ice cream.

They came very well packaged. The smell is amazing, they are plump, pliable and have no mold. I was a little hesitant to order based on some of the comments, but took a chance as the price was fantastic. I wasn't disappointed in the least. Delivery was on the day they stated I would receive them. I did expect a delay due to COVID but that didn't happen. I would order these again from this vendor. Now comes the hard part...the wait while they steep into liquid extract. - EDIT - ordered a second lot - not the same packaging - it was a generic brand not Strongus. The aroma wasn't nearly as nice or as strong as the first order. I did use 1 of the 10 beans in a glaze...results...meh, so I added the rest to my first batch of extract I have steeping.

It’s been over a year now since I purchased these beans to make vanilla extract, it has turned out perfect, the most flavourful vanilla you’ll ever taste. I started with 2 cups vodka, waited 6 months, I’ve since refilled the 26oz bottle once with same beans and still going! Don’t forget to split the beans before soaking. Purchased June 15/21

My wife refuses to use store bought vanilla essence and has always made her own. These beans are excellent and after brewing them for a few weeks we all benefit from her talents as a cook/chef. Recommend and will be buying more.

Came in a vacuum sealed bag, right away I could smell the pungent vanilla flavour coming through. Very noise and good quality. Put them in vodka to make vanilla extract. Can’t wait to see what I get in a few months.

First time buying vanilla beans. I bought them to make vanilla the packaging was good, the beans looked in good shape. I was able to cut them and add them to my container for vanilla!
