I love this product. Very well made, and I like that the top is a gentle, soft texture. I’m also glad it doesn’t need waxing. My only complaint is that I left it in my shopping cart for a couple weeks without purchasing it. When I finally went to purchase it, they had steadily raised the price for the upcoming July 4th holiday. Just drives me crazy when companies do that, I felt like I was getting taken advantage of a little bit. And it wasn’t just a couple dollars, it was ten to fifteen dollars more when I finally purchased it from when I initially put it in the cart. I would have given this product five stars otherwise. If you’re looking to purchase this, I would suggest doing it during a time with low demand.

One single day of use. Not sure what more I can add. Pretty disappointed.I'm hoping the seller will allow me to return this - I will give it one more try, and update this review.UPDATE:giving this 3 stars because of customer service, and the fact that the seller replaced the item. HOWEVER, my rating of the board itself stands at 1 star - the new board fell apart just as fast as the first one. very disappointing.

My kids were so ecstatic about this skimboard! We went to the beach the day after receiving it... just to have a lifeguard coming to us the minute we arrived saying the city didn’t allow skimboards on the beach due to the “risk of life threatening injuries”. What a bummer! We love the color, the quality, the craftsmanship though, and we are keeping it until we go to another beach.

We took this to the beach and it started falling apart on day two. The kids were closely supervised and it was simply from normal use. I was really disappointed in the build quality.BUTThe customer service was phenomenal and returned our money after sending a email with photos and a description of the use. That's worth a star all by itself.I would recommend spending a little more and getting a fiberglass one.

Our boys had so much with fun this on our trip to the Ocean. They played with it for hours... ages 9 and 7. They are starting to get the hang of it and can't wait to find flat sand again soon. Light enought weight that we hiked it in to one of our beaches about 3/4 of a mile- our 9 year old carried it the whole way with ease.

My 13-year-old son loves this skimboard! It's beautifully made, very durable and is easy to handle and glide across the water's surface. He is a beginner and the board was very comfortable to use and learn to ride. Great purchase.

I got the 40" for my son and I to use. I found it well constructed for the price. The foam grip is nice, no need for wax. We've been using often and it's holding up fine. We are careful not to let it get kicked around in the waves too much. It says the 40" is for 150 lbs and above, but the heavier you get, you loose distance on your rides. My son is around 170 and it's great for him. I hover around 210(pure muscle, I swear) and I still enjoy using it, but my runs are significantly shorter before I sink to the sand. I am currently looking for another board that can better handle my totally not fat at all 210lbs. If you are closer to the 150lb mark, I can highly recommend this as a low cost way to enjoy the beach.

This is a gift for a 9 year old; he hasn't used it yet. The quality looks excellent.I know he will have hours of fun on it.
