Fiskars8.5 Inch Softouch Spring Action Rag Quilter Snip

I bought these to clip the seams for rag quilts and they did not disappoint! On this quilt I used flannel for the front, middle and back. I was able to clip the center seams all together (all 6 layers) at a time. I thought I might have to do one side and then the other but nope, I was able to do all at once. I have made two quilts so far and maybe over time they might dull but for now they work great!

I made a Levi rag quilt and I can’t imagine clipping edges without this. Sharp and easy to use. Highly recommend.

These snips saved me hours of clipping rag quilt seams. I gave it four stars in ergonomic and comfort because they're great but there's nothing in this world that could make snipping seams for hours a comfortable experience and sometimes, I struggled to find the best way to hold them. Nevertheless, I would absolutely purchase these again.HOWEVER: Keep these things away from children and be extra careful when using them. They're fantastic at cutting through multiple layers of thick fabrics and so I wouldn't be all that surprised if they could take a finger off.

Love these scissors!!! I bought these because I have carpal tunnel in my wrist and it's painful to cut with other scissors...These are very comfortable to use. It definitely is very ergonomic!! The blade is small...but very very sharp...will cut through several layers of fabric. This particular pair of scissors were in a top 10 scissor and they were sooo right about them. Absolutely would recommend these!!

These are great ! Much better than I expected. They are really comfortable to use. Even though the handle looks quite chunky it doesn't feel it and the blade is very sharp which enables you to be very precise when snipping. Because of the spring action there is no strain on the hand or fingers. I would highly recommend them.

I bought these for cutting through cloth but I am finding them very useful for many other purposes especially plastic bag such as the sealed plastic before a zip-lock can be accessed.Because of the large handle and the short, sharp, blades, it is very easy to slide cut with them using the force of my hand/arm.Very impressed by these scissors.
