No it does not stain. I wear the shoes immediately after spraying in order to stretch them.

Q: How can you spray the insides of boots the the foot area?

I sprayed the sides & toe area of my shoes. It helped my shoes that were too tight in the toe area. I would think you could spray the foot area.
