5 Hours Upright Cruisin' Around Town and Parks with NO PAIN Whatsoever!
For me, this seat was a game changer. I had just bought myself an awesome beach cruiser with great ergonomics. It was so much fun just riding the d*** thing that I'd keep at it for hours even though the stock seat would start getting uncomfortable after an hour or so. Around the two-hour mark, it'd be f***ing painful. So, I did my research. ... which included asking other cyclists--of all sorts (even the super-serious, super-fit road-racer types)--whether you just HAD TO get used to the discomfort if you were going to ride long stretches, particularly when seated upright. What I concluded was that most riders simply accepted the discomfort as inevitable and either endured it or cut their riding short. From this I inferred that if you want to ride long without any discomfort, you'd need to go with something kinda radical. ... LIKE A SEAT THAT'S 13" WIDE!!!! That's what this is. It also has its own suspension (which absorbs smaller bumps in a noticeable way!), a nice groove down the center (which makes circulation a non-issue), and a substantial layer of reactive gel (which seems to be just the right stiffness/softness). Let me reiterate, this thing is huge, so huge in fact that it will look quite wrong when you first put it on your bike. My bike is a monster and this seat made it look comical, initially. But the look kinda grew on me after a while, and now *other* bike seats look pretty pathetic. They look like they're *supposed* to hurt! And that brings me to my main point: This seat is so comfortable, it made me all the more eager to keep riding. I don't feel the need to get off and stretch my legs. I can just keep gliding along for hours and hours. It's pure pleasure. I can't count the number of times I've jumped on my bike thinking I'll just get a quick ride in to get the blood flowing, take in some fresh air, and clear my head--and then stay out for around 2 hours. It's definitely helping me get in better shape, and I'm smiling all the way. There was this one night where I noticed I was indeed starting to feel sore. I checked my watch and realized that I'd been going for about 5.5 hours. I can live with that. Depending on your bike's frame, you may need to experiment with ways to get the seat positioned just right. (I had no such trouble, but some reviewers seemed to.) What I'd say is: It's worth it. One more thing: Some people are very much performance-oriented when it comes to biking. I'm not sure this is the right seat for, say, more or less aggressive mountain bikers or spandex-clad road racers. For one thing, I think more competitive types will find this far too heavy, and weight matters to them. For my own part, if I ever get back into mountain biking, I'll still give this seat a shot. I kinda doubt it'll pay off, but who knows? (Seriously, does anyone know?) For now, though, and for the kind of casual cruising I'm into, I don't think there's a better seat. I've tried a handful of well-reviewed alternatives; I wound up giving them away. If more people knew how comfortable this seat is, we'd have a lot more people doing a lot more biking. Yep, I really believe that.

Very comfortable, large and a bit heavy.............
Okay, yes agreed this is a large seat indeed, but I'm over 40 years old and don't quite have the duration that I used to for riding long distances on my bike, this seat will help you want to ride further by being more comfortable. I find this seat to be much more comfortable than the normal small hard bike seat that most bikes come with. Please note that there is no seat post mounting hardware included to attach this seat to the bike. The mounting rails underneeth this seat are however the standard size of 85% of all seats made on bikes, so most people will not need to order an extra mounting piece. If needed the mounting bracket can be purchased for about $8 to $10. You should be able to take the existing mounting bracket from your current seat post and move it over to the new seat with the loosening of one bolt, but this will not work in all cases. Check ahead to see if this will be needed so that you can order bracket at the same time as the new seat. I was able to mount this seat on two bikes using the existing seat mounting bracket with no problems. Also this seat is really not light weight so for the person that is concerned with any extra weight on their bike this is not the seat for you! Do you want comfort or do you want a light weight bike, it all depends on what you want from your bike experience??

Update
The picture of this saddle is after 20 months of use by a 245 lb male on an e-bike, no wear! I love the comfort and durability of this saddle. Update, this is a high quality, very comfortable saddle that after 24 months showed no wear on the seat material. Unfortunately, the plastic {?} frame did not hold up to a 245lb rider. The front bolt area and a spring support fatigued and are not repairable. I love this saddle but cannot justify replacing it at $94 every 2 years.

Great Seat, Very Comfortable!
I put this seat on my Sixthreezero "In The Barrell" and used the existing saddle clamp that was on the bike when I bought it new. The seat is very comfortable and has extended my rides. The bike itself has no shocks so bumps transmit to the rider in full force, this seat takes that down by half or more in my opinion. I'm a big guy and riding to lose weight and get a cardio workout so with my bulk and no suspension on the bike this seat is a life saver. It is big though, very wide and will bring you up a few inches so be ready to be lower the seat post to accommodate the thickness of this one. Also keep in mind that this is a rail seat so you will most likely need to use the clamp that is your bike seat now to get this one to work.

Too big
I bought this just because I wanted to try it out. I assumed I would be returning it and unfortunately I was right. Padding: felt good. REAL good Cover: like nylon. Your butt WILL slide off Size: should cover most gigantic butts HOWEVER the overall design was too large. Pedaling became a pain as my legs/thighs rubbed against the side of the seat. Conclusion: it's more of a comedy prop than a realistic bike seat alternative... Alright

We replaced the seats on both of our bikes and they proved to be amazing. The old seats were too small for our aging derrières so we decided to replace them with bigger ones. We noticed the difference immediately. We no longer feel any discomfort when cycling. The seats are little pricey but well worth it. We highly recommend these seats.
