Plays well with my foundation!
I LOVE this product. One Size (expensive) makes a B12 serum that can be used with foundation to thin it out a bit. I took a chance that this less expensive version would do the same thing - and it DOES!!! Plays well with DRMTLGY matte tinted moisturizer and Estรฉe Lauder foundations. Definitely a forever product for me.

A wonderful Korean-made skincare product
I like this Vitamin B12 facial Ampoule. It is evening my skin tone, boosting collagen and elasticity, and doing it without skin irritation. I apply it at night and wake up to better skin. It smells good and my skin just drinks it in. If you've never tried Korean skincare products, start with this one. You'll love it too. They're affordable and they work.

Not impresses
Itโs just a standard serum. Nothing to be wowed about.

Super Tiny Single Booster Serum; Vanity Pretty, But Not Practical
Near Full 0.67oz HA and B12; Okay Serum B vitamins in skincare are nothing new. The most common ones include vitamin B3 (niacinamide), vitamins B5 (panthenol), and vitamin B7 (biotin). These and folic acid, thiamine, and riboflavin (other B vitamins) are found in foods and supplements too. Both orally and topically, B vitamins can provide many skin-friendly benefits, protecting against environmental stressors, helping with dryness, uneven tone, and balancing oil production. B12 (cobalamin) helps to diminish the look of uneven discoloration and dullness in mature skin. It supports increasing cellular turnover. However, there is limited research as to how effective this particular vitamin performs when used topically. The Potions Vitamin B12 Serum is just that, B12 in a pink, watery, lightweight serum base of water, sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid salts), butylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, cyanocobalamin. The serum is alcohol-free and fragrance-free, though it does have a hint of smell: nothing unpleasant, strong, or off-putting. In terms of where to use this in your skincare routine: wash, tone, and apply serums and ampoules, then follow up with moisturizers and facial oils (SPF in the daytime, rain or shine, year-round irrespective of age, gender, skin color, and type). Cheaper to prevent UV-damage and premature aging than it is to treat it. Read up on how hyaluronic acid works, and be sure to apply moisturizer when you use it. Short answer: HA draws moisture deeper into the skin from the ambient environment around you and the skin's outermost layer. If this layer is parched or the surrounding air is especially dry, it will dry your skin out further. Counterproductive. Anyway, The Potions Vitamin B12 serum or ampoule comes in a ridiculously teeny-tiny 0.67oz frosted glass dropper bottle for ~$13. Seems all of their oils and serums are like this. At least the ones Iโve tried thus far. Not expensive, but certainly a lot when you consider this is less than an ounce. The bottle isn't even full. See images. I don't know too many companies who go under 1oz unless it is an eye cream. This is a basic, non-irritating, lightweight serum. Because of the HA, it will help enhance the moisture balance in your skin. Then again, a lot of skincare is already formulated with HA. Nothing really wrong with this ampoule, but it is not practical. Vitamin B12 (B in general) is not difficult to come by. It is good, but most skincare has niacinamide, panthenol, and the like, which have research backing their performance and skincare benefits. I don't see the point in getting a little single booster of B12 when there are far better formulations out there in larger portions in the same price point. Nothing wrong with it. By all means, get it and give it a try. You may love it. I would rather not have 900 little bottles of single boosters sitting around, even if the bottles are cute and pretty like this one. The older I get, the less I want to layer on serum after serum to glean the benefits I want. I prefer one or two powerhouse, well-formulated, multi-benefit serums.
