I purchased the black 12mm, 30 inch Miami Curb Cuban Link Chain for special use. The chain is very sturdy and stylish for its purpose. Unfortunately, a slight drawback is the spring clasp does not measure up to the bulk and sturdiness of the chain. The spring that controls the clasp does not have strong enough tension to keep it tightly closed. The clasp loses tension strength after just a few opening pulls resulting in it easily disconnecting if the chain twists at an angle that brings the connector into contact with the spring clasp closure. It will suddenly drop off the neck. The sturdiness of the chain invites being able to use it for various amulets or pendants of varying sizes and weights, but the clasp causes second thinking of that for fear of damaging or losing your jewelry piece if the clasp comes undone while ambulating and the chain falls to the ground or, worse, into a street drain. Again, a nice chain for the cost; however, the clasp needs to be improved to meet the boldness of the chain.

The chain is beautiful, very brilliant gold, so much that I had to buy a new cross pendant. Because it was so dingy compared to the nice gold chain.

Had this for two years now, highly impressed. It is lightweight and not overly large/bulky. It has been through everything, from swimming, sun, being washed, banged up and much more. I have the black version and the color has not chipped, scratched or tarnished. Clasp is easy to use and won’t break easily. I have sensitive skin and have had no reactions at all to this product.

Tangles very easily and very light weight. I expected better based off reviews.

Love the chain! Looks great and is strong. I always have chains breaking and this chain feels like it will last.
