Super Mario 3D All Stars Game Guide: An illustrated, Practical Guide with Tips & Tricks Paperback – September 30, 2020

I thumbed through it as bought it for a Christmas present, and should be just what she is looking for.

I will give the authors the benefit of the doubt and say this is a book designed for people who are brand new to the Super Mario franchise. Anyone who has ever played any game in the franchise before will likely be disappointed. It is not a true walkthrough of any of the games, nor does it reveal any real secrets. It only covers a fraction of each of the games, and it feels as if even the authors lost interest in the book before they were done writing it. No maps, no game chapter by game chapter notes, and only a few black and white photos.

Hard to believe that Nintendo has hit a massive home run this year with Mario's 35th anniversary, and the release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. The compilation of Nintendo's greatest platformers of Mario has been a huge home run, except for the fact that it is a limited edition game. But now, people are trying to seek strategy guides specifically for the compilation. This strategy guide, independently published without Prima or Nintendo in mind by George Freeman does not cover all the tips and tactics you need to fully 100% completing each game: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. The maps were not as well dedicated here. As someone who still owns copies of the original guides from Nintendo & Prima for all three of these games, I found this to be of little help at all. If you're new to any of the three titles from the Super Mario 3D All-Stars limited edition game, you're better off going online to ebay and seeking the original strategy guides for each game. I expected this to be like a regular game guide. This is far from that,most certainly not $11 worth. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this. ☹

Super mario galaxy is a great game. I have it on my wii and beat the game on my wii already so i thought it would be nice to have it on my switch too. The two other mario games are super lame. I feel like i wasted my money. Maybe if i hadnt ever played galaxy it would have been worth the money.

It looks like this book was printed on a regular printer and bound. I was expecting a professional book.

This looks super bad, even for the price. Pictures are in black and white, font is really big.
