Update: Great book - my child loved it.The start of the book was cool, and we like the color inserts (even though it's in the middle of the book - kind of disrupts the momentum of the story, but nice addition.) The first copy we received had no ending; it appeared to be a printing mistake. Very weird. The seller sent a new copy which was complete, and it was very enjoyable.

I ordered the book thinking that it was a normal book, appropriate for kids all ages. When I started to read chapter 2, it started mentioning that the kid has 2 dads, which is totally unnecessary for a book that is supposed to be for kids. I don't care what the new normal is and I truly don't care how adults want to build their relationships. But for me the traditional family is sacred.
