Slitzer Germany CTSZBX6 6 Piece Steak Knife Set/Wood Box

These are really nice knives. They work great. We purchased them for extra knives when guests are here having steak. They are good quality half serrated knives, good solid handles, and the box is VERY nice. These may be inexpensive, but when you pull out a cherry wood box of knives, it looks eloquent. I would recommend these to anyone needing steak knives and not wanting to buy a complete knife set. I am totally happy with this purchase, and fast shipping. Overall a great set of knives at a great price.

Purchased this as a last minute solution. Very poorly made. 2 of the 6 knife handles were broken upon arrival. You can definitely see the poor quality immediately upon opening. I read the poor reviews before ordering but gave the product the benefit of the doubt. Oops.

I was exited when I received these in the mail. They come in a nice wooden box but that was the only pleasant part of this product. I open the box and to my amazement 3 knives were broken. Doubt it happened during shipping since they are well protected in the nice storage box. I can't tell you if they are strong or not because I never even bothered to try them out. This was a waste!!!!

It's fine if you just want some inexpensive steak knives. But it is not a gift type of item -- the box is nice, but the knives are poorly made and have rough edges on the tang (the portion of the blade that is in the handle, between the wood grips).

They are sharp and seem well built, but the box they came in was broken on the inside with the knives flopping around.

I Bought this for the wife for a Christmas present and we have used them quite a bit. We love to grill out and they work fine and arrived very quickly.
