This lock worked perfectly on my china cabinet!
I had gotten one of these a couple of years ago because I have a china cabinet and one of the door locks broke so I ordered this one and it work perfectly. The other door lock just broke so I ordered another one and now they match. Both work great just make sure to measure correctly!

Easy installation
Worked well in my Mama’s antique china cabinet. Did not have to modify the existing cabinet door for it to fit. Easy installation. Functions well.

If the key fits!
The key fits my old lock perfectly. This is a standard commercial lock. My grandparents bought a curio cabinet back in the 70's. My uncle inherited it. When my uncle died my father insisted that I take it even I have no room for it. My autistic son found the key and tried it on a locked desk drawer, breaking the key when he tried to force it. 12 years later I find a place to put the cabinet, so I go online to source a new key: THIS IS THE KEY that fits that old lock. And BTW: It's made in Taiwan, a free country (At least for now).

Did the job.
This product did the job, however I would not recommend for every day use.

Perfect
Perfect fit for a curio cabinet I’ve been repairing. I had the locking mechanism already and not the key but glad to have extra parts.

Vintage like
This fit perfectly in my vintage curio cabinet. The old lock was broken, I was really happy to be able to replace this! The front plate was too hard for me to install alone, so that is blank for now; requires a helper or turning the cabinet on it's back.

Cheaper than it looks
This lock is cheap and you do get what you pay for. The tumbler mechanism does not go through the door. To install, you need to drill a hole through the door with the lock on the inside and the key hole on the other. Then, to access the lock you need to fish the key through the hole in the door and feel your way to the keyhole in the lock on the other side. This can be difficult and if not done exactly right it's easy to twist the key. The mounting screws are very poor quality. They twisted off and broke while installing the lock even with pre-drilling the holes. The outside lock cover is held on by two cheap nails. Go with an alternative if you can find it.
