Good value, great assortment!

Item reviewed: Fun Party Candy Assortment Box - Smarties, Warheads, Kool-Aid, Lollipops, Whatta Bubble, Fruit Chews (12 Pound Box - Approx. 930 Count)It's a lot of candy but I haven't heard of most of them before. The Twizzlers were watermelon flavor. They were soft and chewy. The Hi-Chews are reduced sugar but maybe that's a good thing with all this candy. The Whatta Bubble chewing gum wasn't hard but not that soft either. It's also the type of gum where you chew it for 10 seconds and then need to spit it out. The Nerds Gummy Clusters were tangy and crunchy. The kids really liked these. Overall, it's a good mixture of candy. Great for when you need a lot of candy.

This is an awesome set up for parades! I would say get 2-3 sets bc we still didnt have enough candy.

Open candy

There were four bags of candy in the big box from Laetafood, each containing a mixture of different candies. I am seventy-one and had never heard of some of the candies. My sister and brother-in-law knew of some of them. My ninety-year-old mom and I sat down after dinner to try out the assortment. I was not excited to eat any of it, seeing lots of Twizzlers and knowing I did not like them. Some of the listed candies were not in the bag we opened. They all looked similar so it is possible they could have one or two of the listed types available. I tried a few of the candies and thought they had an old taste. Why would people want a large assortment of small candies and not want to pick out the type they liked? I thought maybe for a pinata or some other reason that variety was more important than taste it could be used. I would not buy a large assortment of candy that I did not know that it had what I wanted. If I want candy, I want the best. I want something that I look forward to eating, not a chore of tasting boring candies of dubious ages. I don't know what individual candy cost today at the store but surely you can find a better assortment and a better price at a local discount store. I did look at the price of the Mikata candy. It could be purchased for five cents each. These candies are five cents each in the purchased amount. This is something that will hit the trash at my house and that does not happen often. Maybe I should donate it, but I would feel bad about giving this to a charity. I could not determine why anyone would want to order candy like this, but I would not do this unless I was in the Vine program giving an honest review of a product. We end up with duds, so hopefully you don't.

It’s a great product but learning the hard way that it’s not a good think to eat all of it at once.. I think I have gone into overdrive!

You truly get a lot of candy and a great variety of different types. You get 4 bags of candy filled with all sorts of candy. I love the gummy nerd clusters. My kids loved that there is war head sour popping candy. This will be great for Easter or any occasion you need a lot of candy. All candy is fresh with different expiration dates. Some of these candies I’ve never heard of so it was nice to try a new candy with the family.
