Really Useful 6.5 L Storage Box, Clear (6.5C)

I bought about 16 of these to store my CD collection, minus their heavy/bulky plastic cases. Unfortunately, those are not recyclable, so they all ended up in landfill.I left aside CD box sets where the box was essential component of the product. Also, a few of my CD's had such sentimental or collector value that I retained them in their plastic cases. Such CD's still fit the storage case just fine.Now, after many hours work over several months, my CD collection, which used to sprawl in a dozen or so banker's boxes all over the downstairs storage room, now fits neatly on two shelves of wire-rack shelving. For ease of retrieval, the original inserts are included and placed to be readable from above. There are three alphabetical collections, one by artist (pop, jazz, blues etc.), another by composer (classical etc.), and the third of World music (primarily by artist).

Good product - did exactly what I needed it to accomplish.

So fat this is the best system I've come across to store cds, dvds, blu rays, and 4K jewel case media laid flat with the title facing out no problem. Each box accommodates two stacks. Works very well. Only critique is the boxes are fragile, but I'll live with it.

Love these containers! I might have written a review already, but it's worth saying again, and no pun intended: these containers are REALLY USEFUL.They stack well, hold CD sized media perfectly, and are made by a company who's committed to getting media storage right. Even the adhesive used on their product packaging and barcode labels is designed to be removed without leaving sticker goo or torn paper behind. Attention to detail matters.

I use these to store fabric ‘quarters’ in. The are exactly the right size and I can easily see what’s inside. They are very sturdy and can handle some rough handling. I buy them whenever I have a few extra $s. I think I have about 20 now! My sister uses them for her CDs too.

These boxes don't accommodate US made DVD boxes for maximum use of product, but they're well made and can be used to store other items.

This storage box is clean and neat for storing CDs. However, it would be perfect if the titles could be read in the upright position.
