Update....I washed my hair a second time with the colored shampoo and it added an eensy weensy amount of extra color. I'm assuming this is a color building shampoo if used over time, I just didn't have enough vacation time to try it out. I'm still disappointed.Original review....Lame lame lame. I did a pre-shampoo to clean my hair then followed up with THREE shampoos with the colored shampoo. I even let it sit a minute or two each time. My blonde parts looked light pink in the shower on soaking wet hair, I thought it had potential.But then I dried and styled it....do YOU see any pink worth raving over?? I don't. I got this as a bonding thing with my niece but wanted to try it first, what a waste. I didn't bother sharing it with her.The side by side picture shows my normal hair on the left and the "tinted" side on the right. It's laughable.

It does what it says it will do, which is add warm tone to hair. I bought it to help maintain salon color. Unfortunately, it really toned down the vibrancy of my hair due to being darker than what I started with. I was hoping for more yelllow/orange tones and this is definitely red. I can see this working very well for someone looking to maintain red hair. It did seem to really dry my hair and cause it to tangle easily, as a note. Overall it is as advertised, just not what I had hoped for.

Extremely disappointed after spending $200 at the hairdresser. I was hoping this shampoo was going to get me through to my next color much to my dismay my hair turned pink and I had to spend another $200 to fix it not happy. I requested a refund. Stil waiting....

Gives you a perfect sunny gold color on a faded light blonde. Don’t need to leave it on just wash with it as you would a normal shampoo. Suggested used - once a week.

I love this. For subtlety I used both this and its sister conditioner as I do regular hair cleansers... shampoo and rinse then condition and rinse and no leaving-in for 5 minutes and my white-blonde hair got a little personality added to it. Pricey but long-lasting bottles and happy me = worth it.

I used it to go from blond to brown. Red base then brown. I got jolly rancher hair. Great for radical colors. Not so great for professional boring colors.

It does work and it will tint your highlights and tone your hair. However it washes out with the next shampoo, and it will stain your tub. It also makes your hair VERY dry, use lots of conditioner.

What a beautiful color this produces! I will continue to use it on my gray hair.

Love this shampoo! I used to have red hair as a child but as I’ve gotten older my natural hair colour faded and I decided to go blonde. After years of the blonde I was fed up and wanted my red hair back so as a quick fix I used this copper shampoo and I just love the results. There are no dodgy ingredients in this shampoo and it is easy to use. The only thing I would suggest is wearing gloves to wash it as my hands were stained a funny orange colour after the first use. I would definitely recommend this product and will most definitely be buying it again myself!

I’ve used this once so far on top of blonde highlights and it’s given them a lovely warm glow and taken away the yellow tinge. I was anxious about using this as I’ve used some products in the past and they’ve turned my hair a harsh orange or red but this is a really gentle deposit of colour- it doesn’t stain hands either. When you pour it out into your hands it’s quite metallic and glittery looking and now my hair is dry it has a lovely shine.I’d definitely recommend this product to someone who was trying to achieve a warm glow to their hair. My dark balayage roots also have a lovely warm glow to them.

I use this shampoo to add a pale pink sheen to my grey hair. It’s designed to be used on lightened hair - I’ve done that too and the colour can be very intense (nice though). But now I’ve given in to the grey and the end result is much more subtle which I prefer. If I want it more pink I use it neat. If I want it less pink I dilute it (in the palm of my hand) with some ordinary shampoo. Interestingly, most of my female friends like the pink colour and I have also lost count of the times strangers (women) have commented on it when I’ve been out and about. The current Mr W, on the other hand, and all my male friends DON’T like it and never comment. But what do they know ...?

After having blonde hair for years and trying all different products on the market (bleaches, toners,purple shampoos) I can honestly say that this product is great.It’s given me a beautiful pearl like blonde colour.I used this shampoo instead of the toner straight after bleaching my hair, it didn’t turn my hair blue or purple like other products can sometimes do.The fact that this product is cruelty free and has no harsh chemicals in it is AMAZING!!!Also little goes a long way so this bottle will last me ages.

Really happy with this toner shampoo - I bought it as my blond baby lights were starting to go too bright as I’m unable to get my hair done at the moment. After 1 use my hair was looking fresh and had a lovely tone and the second use it it maintained a lovely copper tone, I love it! I also found I got longer between the 2 washes which is strange for my hair as it gets oily fairly quick. Not messy to use at all, despite the intense colour once water hits it. I would definitely recommend
