Sad to se them go.
Depressed about season 19 being the last one. My entire adult life has had one constant thing - the Mythbusters. I even visited M5 once. You could call me a super fan. You can learn a lot form them about life and science. They have invaded every aspect of the American culture and I am sad to see them go. I watched there show so many times my son has to watch it every time before he goes to bed. Thanks to them my son loves science and math. It is fun to watch them stumble through things as they learn - you learn with them, it is like a voyage of discovery. What they have achieved with this show has expanded human knowledge for the better. This show will be sadly missed, it was not just fun to watch be you learned a lot and some of of there experiments save the life's. Before the Mythbusters the only good show to watch about science was Bill Nye the Science Guy and you didn't learn a lot from him but you sure did learn a lot from the Mythbusters. I wish that the Discovery Channel wood keep the show going for another 19 seasons. "Thank you Jamie Adams Tory grant and kari. It was fun to watch you guys learn can achieve new things in your lives I wish you well and anything you do for the rest your lives thank you."

A new favorite episode!
I started watching Mythbusters back when it came on the air in 2003, and my introduction was one of the all-time great myths: Stinky Car. Watching the looks on the crew's faces as Adam and Jamie unload two decomposing pigs from the inside of a car was just priceless. However, I do believe Season 9's "Cold Feet" has "Stinky Car" beat: both Grant and Kari get some serious "Fear Factor" treatment - testing to see if your feet really do get colder when you're genuinely afraid. Grant and Kari's reactions... I'm not one to enjoy other people's suffering... let's just say that these two earned every dollar they received for this episode, and that the camera captured things perfectly. Just watch Kari's face--I laughed so hard that I had tears rolling down my face.

Mythbusters was one of the best ways anybody could come up with to prove if something is fact or fiction. I enjoy watching Jamie Hyneman in this series blowing up things. Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman are special effects experts. I am sure you will have hours of enjoyment watching this.

Good set but with one or two episodes missing
Good set but with one or two episodes missing. "Explosions A to Z" is missing. The "Jawsome Shark Special" may have been in this season or in season 8, depending on which list of Mythbusters episodes is consulted. One list shows it aired Aug. 13, 2012 and another list shows it aired Aug. 4, 2013. Whichever air date is correct, this episode in not included in either season's of DVDs.

Archimedes returns...again
I love the Mythbusters, really I do. But...I was somewhat disappointed by this episode. It was great seeing that President Obama watches and discusses the show with his daughters, but seriously he picked Archimedes for yet another revisit? Come on pres, how about something original? The Mythbusters preformed their normal due diligence and had fun with the revisit, but I just couldn't ever get into the episode as I was really, really hoping that they had something new and exciting on hand to test not Archimedes. Good to watch once, but beyond that...maybe not.

Great for what it is
This was a fun episode, really seeming to be almost more of a Public service announcement for science education. I liked it because they point out something about science, that the poorly educated american population needs to hear more of. And that is, that in science and research, failures can teach and be as important as success. For the most part you can look at the main piece of the episode as on big science field trip where some kids learn to work as a team, and how methodical experimentation can lead to results.

So far has been great and was delivered quickly
So far has been great and was delivered quickly. However one episode seems to have an issue and stops playing about 2/3rds of the way through and skips to the end.We have only watched two out of the four disks and has only been one episode so far
