These are great! I used them on a baby goat with a broken leg. Since they grow fast the vet said a cast wasn't an option. He hadn't tried these before but instead used a cut PVC pipe as a splint and wrapped with tons of gauze and vet wrap. Needless to say changing the wrappings got really expensive, goats being goats and playing like they do plus my girl being Houdini and somehow getting the PVC pipe out of the wrappings I moved over to this for added protection. I love how its reusable. You can really get creative and find a way that it best suits your needs. After seeing how I created a better setup the vet said he will be adding it to his kit and was really impressed with it. Her leg healed perfectly (you can't tell it was ever broken and the bone had been snapped in half!) She went on to breed and be a wonderful milker with full function of her leg. The mesh inside let's you create all sorts of splints for any body part. You can clean off the outside of it as well adding to the lifespan. Once your done you can just roll it back up for using it again later on. It is very easy to initially bend into the shape you want and once formed it offers a hard protective covering for many uses and applications. Easy to cut with household scissors you can make it any size. The protective padding on both sides gives you support while remaining comfortable.

Worked well to form splint for my dogs arm and paw. Padded with gauze and wrapped with self adhesive tape. Only thing I would beware of is that is chewed through extremely easily. I had to dust of my puppies "Cone of Shame" from when she was spayed to prevent running through the two rolls. I am going to purchase this again to stock up my animals first aid items.

Delivered next day and worked beautifully. The vet version broke in less than 24hrs. This works for my giant breed black russian terrier. The velcro splint xl sold by a pet manufacturer will never fit the width of my dog's leg and paw. I ordered additional ones, great price since she has to walk and there is wear and tear, but works for our 6 week need for her fractured toe, also nice to have around, if I need it.

Bought this to use on my Irish Wolfhounds front leg. Worked perfect to stabilize it.

I bought this product to keep on hand.Fortunately, haven't had to use this yet, but if and when I do,I'll have saved on a vet bill!
