Really thrilled with this purchase
I am thrilled with this purchase. It is very early in the process and will develop opinions about the build quality over time though first impressions are it has a well built feel to it.But after initial brews, finally! By that I mean, excellent results. I've been wrestling with a couple of espresso machines, and I mean wrestling. I am making espresso shots that end up as a 'cobalamin' type product. Specialized.Regardless, one needs a darn good espresso base. I've been working at this for years to refine my process and was never really thrilled with the results, and I mean I have put a lot of effort into tweaking everything. Roast my own beans, an excellent grinder. Never really attained what I felt were good, consistent results.Enter the Cuisinox Milano. First results have been outstanding. Straight up. Heads above anything I was ever able to produce with those two high quality espresso machines. And I am using ½ the grind amount... for a stronger brew. That really surprised me but I've repeated this process and yup, less than ½ the amount of coffee grind for a much, MUCH better result. And smooth. Finally, finally… really smooth. Having worked at this for awhile and never arriving at a good shot, only acceptable, and I mean I *worked* at it… I felt exonerated to have my exact same roast and exact same grind come out this excellent. The only thing that changed was introducing the Cuisinox Milano. Smooth, excellent, consistent, smooth. Finally. My prep time…. has been cut by 2/3rds. Instead of spending 20-25 minutes for my two “cobalamin” cups, start to finish with the Milano for my two "cobalmin" is 7-8 minutes. Clean up is a snap as opposed to the high maintenance espresso machines.I like this. Lots. Mega props for this Cuisinox Milano. It has very quickly changed every aspect of my process and it is all excellent.

Cuisinox Milano 6 cup Espresso Coffeemaker
It makes great coffee. If anyone says it doesn't, they are using it wrong, or they arn't using high quality coffee or they just don't like strong coffee. It ain't rocket science. Put the water in the bottom, put the coffee in the basket (How much is up to you.), screw it together and put it on the stove. On my gas stove it takes about 3 minutes. There is a thin crema, but this is not really espresso. The coffeemaker is well made with heavy guage stainless steel. Even the gasket seals tight without overtightening. Some complained about the handle getting hot, but suspect they are using a electric stove. Mine does not get hot. The spout is good - it doesn't drip like my old one did. This is the only coffeemaker I use except for my Illy espresso machine so I use it everyday. It's expensive, but you will use it for a long time.

Excellent Espresso!
This pot is excellent! makes perfect espresso it its all stainless and has some weight for its size it doesn't leak at the seam where some others do and it looks pretty tooI was a little unsure if i would like the finish since its states its satin but upon receiving i really love this finish i thought it would be heavily frosted and easily scratch off but that's not the case,no you cannot see yourself in it but its not a mirror its a espresso pot,it makes about one cup of coffee(regular mug size)but that's not the customary way to serve espresso,it comes boxed and with an extra gasket and a screen to install into the filter to make less coffee i don't see the use for it i use mine to press the grinds down sorta handy it says to wash by hand no dishwasher oh well you just can't have it all! So attractive but..
...3-4 demitasse cups just not enough. The stainless steel construction is well finished, hefty, and heavy duty. The brushed finish is handsome and subtle. I bought this to replace old Bialetti. The 1st clue of the diminished capacity was the size of the filter (which holds the ground coffee) was about half the size of old pot. I wanted at least the same amount of brewed coffee, not less. So 6 doesn't always equal 6. I did really like the design and the high quality. The handle does become hot even though I always keep the flame less than the diameter of the pot. Darn...

Healthy alternative to pods!
I am so happy that I made the switch to stainless steel! I have been using the product regularly since I purchased it last November with no problems at all and a very rich cup of coffee. I previously had been using the Nespresso and making Americano’s which I still do when I don’t have extra time. This takes about 5 minutes to fully perk. But the coffee is very rich and I am back to being able to use beans ground from my favorite local coffee roaster. I could do that somewhat with the Nespresso but the seal was still made of aluminum and I was increasingly getting concerned about all the plastic/aluminum in the pods as well as plastic throughout the machine. This is straight forward and healthy! I do the bulletproof system with a whisker mixing butter, coconut sugar, collagen, mct oil and a tad of cream. Taken with L-theanine, it has been a lovely ride! Very happy with this purchase!

Pretty good product
I spent more on this moka pot than intended because my previous cheap made in China one had the handle break off after a year. I decided to look for a metal handled moka pot even though the handle would get hot because I assumed metal handles would be less likely to break off.Annoyingly enough, the manual says not to tighten or loosen by putting force on the handle. What?? So I'm a little annoyed at that. However, the beauty of this pot is that you don't have to apply significant force to tighten for it to get a proper seal, unlike the previous 10-cub Chinese moka pot.I waited about 6 months of several uses per week before making this review and no problems. Even multiple accidental over-burnings hasn't damaged it. The seal seams to be of a type that might last forever, unlike most moka pots that need it replaced after a year or so. I'm still counting off one star for the price along with the warning about excessive force on the handle, but it has been reliable and makes good coffee.

Cuisinox Milano 10 cup Espresso Stovetop Coffeemaker
As a "used" product I received what looked to be a brand new coffeemaker, deemed used only by some original packaging issues. Compared to my first espresso coffeemaker, which was more of an attempt to copy the more authentic versions, it was an Asian made product which I picked up by more of curiosity than anythingelse. It was cheap and it worked similarly to the "real" ones and I wanted to find out if it made any appreciable difference to the coffee it made. It certainly did and when the spot welded handle came apart it was time for anupgrade. I enjoy the Cuisinox for many reasons: it has a weighted bottom which acts as a heat sink to concentratethe heat needed to generate steam; a large pouring spout which pours smoothly and copiously, a firm handle solidly attached to the coffee pot and an overall weighted, skookum feel suggesting durability and longevity. So far everyone has thoroghly enjoyed the coffee it makes and I look forward every morning to making a pot. A very niceproduct. WP
