Vater VCS Cajon Brushes, Pair

I purchased these to go hand-in-hand with a new cajon and pedal mount. Regular brushes just don't seem to translate well on the cajon; these brushes do a great job of getting a good brush sound. They're well made, secure, and you can't beat the price point. Recommended!

Sounds great, but end caps easily fall off, leaving the sticky nub for you to experience when drumming mid set. Will probably reapply with different glue because these brushes sound really nice. Side note, they'll "bend" a bit while you play, making them a bit macaroni elbow shaped, but they straighten back out with no issue.

This are the best cajon brushes i have ever used before. I will probably use them forever!

I love these cajon brushes. I finally broke down and bought my first cajon a few months ago during quarantine. I watched a video of Mona Tavakoli using these brushes on the cajon. Of course they sounded great when she played them, so I figured I'd give them a try. I'm very pleased. They feel good in your hands. They add a whole other dimension to playing the cajon. They work nicely on my drum kit as well. I would definitely recommend them.

These brushes provide a soft and quieter acoustic feel to the acoustic drum set. Must have for every acoustic band. Also very fun to mess around with.

Yes they bend some and yes the end caps came off pretty quickly but oh man are these fun to use. Sounds are fantastic and make playing so easy and fun. Use a better adhesive for the end caps and I'll give it a 5-star rating.

This is a replacement for a well-worn pair that I am retiring. Of all the brushes that are available specifically for cajons, these give me the exact sound and feel that I want.

Absolutely amazing! Sound great and will give a new way to play your Cajon. Playing these was a pleasure and inspired new beats and sounds from my Cajon. Only wish I had these sooner as if you are playing a long time it is a way to rest your hands and still play.

These brushes are made very well. They are quite big but they’ll be a great asset to your collection and I prefer them over my slimmer brushes. Nice thud

Die Vater Cajon Brushes machen einfach Spaß! Sie erlauben nochmal ein vollkommen neues Spielen und neue, mehr schlagzeugartige Sounds. Materialien und Verarbeitung sind hervorragend, und auch nach mehreren Monaten zeigen sich kaum Abnutzungserscheinungen. Kann ich nur empfehlen und würde sie mir jederzeit wieder kaufen!
