There were two boxes that said pepper shakers but when I opened them up there was a salt shaker so all is good

They are the perfect size, shape, and color to go fabulously with the brass faucet on my kitchen island. But…and this is a huge but….the pepper grinder does not work.I returned the first one, and they sent me another set, and it also does not work. After a bit of investigation, I discovered that the spindles in the pepper grinder block, the peppercorns from dropping down to the grinding gear. If you shake it enough, you can get a couple of smaller peppercorns to fall through to the grinding gear and they grind up beautifully, but after that the peppercorns are just too large to get past the spindles and you are left spinning and spinning with no ground pepper.With further research I learned that peppercorns do not come in smaller sizes and I could not find salt and pepper grinders that look as nice on my counter so I decided to keep this set for appearance and I filled the pepper grinder with peppercorns that I lightly crushed with a mortar and pestle for functionality. I doubt most people are gonna wanna go to that effort, so if you want a pepper grinder that works you might want to pass on these.

These salt and pepper grinders are cute, but are kind of small and definitely not very high quality. For the price, it’s not a terrible deal considering you’re paying for the color.

They aren't the most elegant grinder design, but the finish is beautiful, they look modern, and they work well

Broke right after the return window lol forever. It never ground pepper right and then a black thin plastic ring broke off. Super disappointing.

I love this set. It matches my silverware, bowls, and even some plates. That being said, the grinders have never been good. The pepper grinder takes forever despite multiple adjustments. I can live with that. The salt grinder worked better, but is so messy that I am about to toss them both. After grinding the salt, and even tapping it, when you put it upright fine, ground salt gets all over the table. Sad, because I live them.
