There isn't much to say... Setup was accomplished completely within the Home app and the sensor is very quick to report status changes. Instructions are very succinct - far too brief in my opinion as there are virtually no instructions included so users will need a basic familiarity with what they are doing. Still, for a simple sensor that is so quick to report status and requires no hub, along with its remarkably small footprint (about the size of a Tic Tac box) I cannot recommend this product enough. I plan on watching for price drops to outfit all of my exterior doors.

The mounting system provides all sorts of spacers, but the magnet-based sensor can sense the door is closed quite well even if both halves of the system are not right next to each other, so you don't have to mount them at exactly the same "height" or soooo close together. This is a very good thing.

These sensors appear well constructed and work well enough when in range. (I tested at 10 feet) However in my case the AppleTV is located 45 feet away with three drywall/wood framed walls in between. This is too far for these devices. My Tile Bluetooth LE finders work fine at twice this range.

I purchased this item for my spare bedroom door. It definitely does the job. Only problem I had was it sticking to the wall. I used glue but the alarm works great!!

Small form factor sensor provides many mounting options, and was easy to pair with Homekit hub (needs to be within Bluetooth radius--2 walls and 20 feet for me). Now I get notifications on my iPhone when side door opens and closes, with no false or missed indications.

This needs a hub to install it. I didn’t know that.

Works perfectly fine! Saves a lot of time especially when I am not home. I use this item to make sure my home is locked properly. Great item to buy highly recommend!

The set up was very easy and it worked perfectly the first time. However, it will not stay connected to HomeKit. It is constantly failing and disappearing out of the home app. I have to reset it and start all over. Ultimately, I ended up returning it because it is junk.

After a few days i've decided to update my review. So it seems the device takes a little time to start up (an entire day to be specific) but after the first day it seems to work every time with no fail. Just beware that it may take some time to start up but after the first day it works flawlessly. Couldn't be happier.

Previously used Eve's version but the Onvis Door Sensor is just as good - uses a button cell battery which is easy to replace.Can be set-up entirely inside the Apple Home app but the Onvis app gives you detailed logs and allows for Firmware updates.

Homekit va benissimo. Unica pecca è che funziona solo con il bluetooth. Se lo dovete installare in un garage dove portate internet con un powerline, appena andate via dal garage non funziona più perchè perde il segnale del cellulare.

Im Allgemeinen ist der Onvis Bluetooth Tür Fenster Sensor Kabellos gut Verpackt angekommen. Auch die Inbetriebnahme funktionierte auf Anhieb. Der Magnetkontakt arbeitet auch sehr zuverlässig.Womit ich nicht zufrieden bin ist die kurze Reichweite der Bluetooth Verbindung, ich habe ihn an der Eingangstüre angebracht und muss mein Tablet in der Küche lassen (Entfernung ca. 2 Meter) damit er die Verbindung hält.Ich habe leider auch noch keine Möglichkeit gefunden diesen Sensor im ioBroker einzubinden.Aber mit Apple Home Kit arbeitet er gut zusammen, und das ist ja schon was gutes.

Ich habe mir den Fenster/Tür-Kontakt zu Testzwecken bestellt, da ich nicht glauben konnte, dass er zu diesem Preis wirklich ordentlich funktionieren könnte.Da lag ich aber ordentlich daneben:Durch die WiFi-Anbindung reagiert er deutlich schneller als die Eve-Sensoren (wobei die ja bald mit Thread eventuell deutlich schneller werden).Ansonsten konnte ich bis jetzt keinerlei Probleme feststellen. Daher 5 Sterne!
