I bought this for my husband when his Samsonite busted a latch. He liked the organization of the Samsonite, so I looked for that feature and (after reading many reviews, specifically regarding latches) decided to go with a different brand. The quality is definitely better. The material and stitching are very strong. The interior organization is different but just fine--his words. It is, however, a slightly thinner case. He likes it, but if I now want to pack a big lunch for him, it might be in one of the kids' old lunch boxes---glow worm/mad balls/ewoks stuff.This purchase was made slightly more difficult because I had to access the brown color case to view the interior; I wanted the black. Not a big deal, though. My husband is happy with it. Unlike his previous Samsonite, he is hoping to get at least three years use from the McKlein.

Don’t get those vinyl or “bonded” leather ones. This looks really nice, and is similarly priced as those vinyl ones.

not top notch but gets by. its made out of heavy wood which makes it feel sturdy but you do occasionally feel little cheap with the weight.

Did not need expectations. Briefcase looked used/ returned. Scuffs and spots of material missing from exterior. Disappointing quality control.
