Great support
I bought these shoes initially because I was suffering foot pain (along the outside of my foot along the pad) from the lack of support provided by my running shoes as I walk between 25 and 40 miles per week. The switch to these shoes almost immediately eliminated my pain. Because my feet supinate (outside heel wears down faster than the rest of the sole), I get about six months of comfortable use. I have been wearing them for a few years now...and I highly recommend them.

Nice walking shoes
2nd pair of Columbia walking shoes, last pair wore out after a couple years. This pair is comfortable right out of the box. Been using them to walk the dogs in the morning and so far they've kept my feet dry even when walking through puddles and mud.

Good shoe, but size up for socks
I ordered my usual size based on the "fits as expected" rating, but when I slipped them on my bare feet they felt a little too snug. With a pair of regular cotton socks, the toe area was too snug for comfort - telling me that if I were to use this in a colder setting, my thick winter socks would make the fitment of these shoes too tight. The shoe itself is constructed very well, and I have no faults to point out - I just need to size up for the right fitment, or maybe go with the wide width.

Very nice all - around shoe
This is my second purchase of this shoe. I like it for short day hikes as well as for wearing around town. I normally wear a size 10 shoe but I find 10.5 the best fit for this one.

The hard plastic in the heel ended up breaking long before the shoe itself was worn
The hard plastic inside the heel broke long before the shoe itself was worn out and now makes the shoe painful to wear. I typically wear shoes very long until the front part finally starts to break off from flexing, which will eventually happen to any sport shoe. However, these shoes, while comfortable and durable overall, ended up having the plastic at the heel break (probably from putten them on and off using the other foot) long before the shoe itself was worn out. This is despite me always using a shoe horn when putting them on at home. This was disappointing. I had hoped these would work out better and longer than my typical Big 5 hiking shoe purchases. Otherwise, it's a very comfortable hiking shoe. If I did not have the plastic sticking out into my heel every step I'd, give it 5 stars.

Shoes ripped after 2 months
I have had several pairs of these Columbia shoes and they generally last me about a year. This pair however have started to rip on both shoes after only 2 months. They are otherwise great- comfortable, waterproof, great traction. I called Columbia to get the warranty and I have to ship the shoes to them at my expense and it will take 4 weeks to resolve. I do not recommend these shoes and I am disappointed in Columbia as a company.

Great deal for 50$
Overall it’s great shoes. What I didn’t like: 1. Laces always are untied if you didn’t do double knot 2. Size 0,5 bigger than real one 3. Too warm for spring with fat socks

My Go-to Dad Shoe
On my 3rd or 4th pair of these; good walking and weekend shoe, nothing special, blends in well.
