Now this is a product that deserves a review. I have severe migraines and I get them unexpectedly, I know some have signs that happen before a migraine but not the case for me. I decided to buy this product and as soon as I had my migraine to try it. The first time I used the ice cold mask, and it took away my migraine. So I thought ok this is probably just by chance. Then the next time I had a migraine I tried it again, wow it worked this time too, and this was without my meds, I have Sumatriptan described for my migraines. Then one day my eyes hurt and I was feeling a very mild migraine so I boiled water in a pot and put in the red mask in the pot, let it boil and tried it, voila the pain was gone in 8 min after I had placed the mask on my face. Seriously I know that spending money on items that might not work can be frustrating but in this case try this one if it does work for you like it did for me, imagine a pain free life, imagine how less miserable you will be. Again you have to be careful not to get the mask too warm or cold and it might not work for you But I appreciate this product soooo much no words can explain.

So awhile back I had the gel mask and threw it away which works so good for headaches. These ones have little beads in them. It works ok, when you wear it you can't see much out of it so it is something you could wear to lay down in. It is helpful though. More helpful than a regular ice pack. It covers your forehead and eyes and near headache pain. I get migraines and I do find this useful. It does melt fairly quickly. I haven't used or need to use the red heated one. It comes with a blue one and red one. I used the blue for the cold one. It was shipped quickly. It still works

I like having the 2 masks - I can wear one the heated one while letting the other cool down in the refrigerator. The reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is I thought I could just pop it into the microwave. If you use the microwave, you have to put the mask into a bowl of hot water, then microwave that. So I am back to doing what I did with my old mask - heated up a pan a water on the stove, then using a wooden spoon to hang the mask in the hot water so the straps don't get wet.

The mask part is okay. A barrier between the the pack and the skin would be nice. I had to use a thin blanket between the mask and my face to keep from freezing my skin. I wish they were a little bigger, too. I feel like I need to use both of them at once so I can get cold coverage on my forehead. The straps are terrible. Velcro. No elastic. Not nice velcro. Cheap velcro that will get stuck in your hair. It doesn't feel good when velcro gets stuck in your hair. I really hate the velcro.

Cold mask works well. However, I can't get other mask to stay warm for longer than five minutes. I think it needs to be filled with more gel beads. I like the Velcro strap. It makes it easy to stay in the right place.

Freezing it was WAY too cold for my face, so I've left mine in the fridge. It is difficult to still "do" things when wearing this, but was nice not to freeze my eyeballs. I wasn't a huge fan of the band, but not sure how I'd improve upon it either.

The masks were about only about 3/4 filled with beads. Have to push them into a thin layer to distribute before freezing.

This works fairly well although it does not seem to stay cold very long. It was comfortable to wear, but I still required medication to gain relief from my migraine.
