Love Wish Pearl Kit - Harvest Your Own Pearl Divine Drop

I bought this for my sister as a random gift and she loved it. In the box was a small can that contained the clam, and a chain with the clasp that holds the pearl. Also it will show on the packaging that each pearl will be a different color. In order to get the pearl out she had to open the can, take the clam out, and use the little clam shell popper to open that bad boy up. Then she had to scrape the pearl off the actual clam and insert it in her necklace. The pearl was a very light pink, which she loved. And the clasp design that held the pearl was very cute. Overall she loves this necklace and she had a lot of fun putting it together. I think this necklace is a great gift to give to your mother, sister, best friend, or even just as a gift to a friend. It makes them harvest the pearl and put it together themselves which can give them a sense of "working for the prize". My only problem with this is that the pearl was smaller then I thought it would be. It jiggles around in the necklace a lot so she is scared of it falling off, though it hasn't fallen out once.

My husband and I got these to do as a fun activity to do together. We also recorded it to put on my youtube channel (MysteryGoodies) The two we got ended up being exactly the same so I have two of the same necklaces. but the pearls were different and beautiful. The clams were real, the pearls. Far from being fake. The little spatula that they put in there does not help at all, I finally had to have my husband break mine open. My clam was refusing to open his mouth. but that is what made it more fun, the challenge of getting to the pearl. I really recommend this for family activities, its fun, brings family together, great conversation starter and gives them something to remember it. (can always replace chain for grown ups) This item does not cost much and it well worth it

I purchased this for my daughter and we were surprised how nice and how much fun it was for the price! It was rather tricky to open the shell of whatever this is (a clam?) - it is not an oyster. But the pearl was very pretty and didn't look fake or plasticky as other reviewers mentioned. My daughter (12) is rather fussy and she really had fun and loved this. Would totally recommend for a tween.

I was introduced to these Wish Pearl necklaces over the summer by friends. I like them so much, I ordered a few boxes to give as gifts at Christmas.The quality of the jewelry is not the best; on par with dollar store earrings, really. But it is the novelty of "harvesting your pearl" from the oyster that is special part and the cute clasp designs for the pearl.A couple of my boxes were pretty shaken up, I imagine from shipping.I would have preferred to choose what pendants I received also. Four of the six boxes ordered are "Christian" style cross pendants that will make for some awkward gift giving. Good thing my friends have a sense of humor. (:

This item is VERY giftable. I have my own & have bought for 4 others who loved item as I did & this order I did for my sister. She wanted to give to a hostess at place she eats. Hostess loved her gift. Can't beat the item, the price, it's just totally awesome

Bought three of these for my three daughters for Christmas. They all loved the idea but 2 of three oyster containers had leaked some type of fluid in shipping and the boxes and contents were soaking wet. (I was a bit surprised they did not smell). I am used to shucking oysters so I was able to get these open but if I wasn't, that part of the process might have been difficult. We found 2 white and 1 peach pearl. The pearls were not high quality but each of my girls was very happy with them. The pearls looked a bit more irregular, like freshwater pearls. Regardless, my ladies 6, 10, and 13 were excited to receive them and opened them and made me shuck the oysters immediately. They have been wearing them all week since. It was something I would do again, I just wish they hadn't leaked. That part was a bit gross.

I saw this identical package for twice the price on here but I am happy with the purchase I chose. The item comes in a nice box, and with directions, (you are supposed to make a wish before you open the clam). The necklace I will say was a bit short, a little longer than a choker, it is of okay quality, but that's what I expected for the price, however the best part was definitely the pearl! It was neat to open a real clam (or whatever it is, muscle idk) and find a real pearl! ours was large and almost perfectly round, tinted slightly peachy gold, (says it meant wealth, goody lol) and it looks great. I am happy with this purchase, if you are looking for a nicer higher quality necklace you might want to purchase one separately, however for this price I am pleased and opening the clam was a neat experience.

I purchased 20 of these kits for my daughter to have a "pearl party" birthday. They were perfect. Every girl and parent liked watching us open each oyster. We had white, cream, purple, and pink colored pearls. Each girl at the party got to open her own oyster. The Pearls ranged in sizes but none were too small, some were very large. All of the necklaces were great, no rust as said in other comments and everything worked great. I plan to also give these away as teacher appreciation gifts this Christmas. Overall very happy with this product especially for the price!
