New Split Bamboo Fly Rod 6'9" for #3 Line Wt,2 Piece with 2 Tips

I have wanted to fish a bamboo rod for quite a long time. I had never done it for two reasons cost and I was afraid to invest in a technique that I was not sure I would like. I bought this rod on a lark. I was greatly surprised when the rod arrived. The rod was well constructed and had very appealing look. It cast and plays fish beautifully, a real joy to fish. I cannot speak to how it compares to other bamboo rods as this is my first one, but at $200 versus $2,000 I don’t think you can go wrong.If there was one thing that detracted from the overall purchase the up-locking reel seat is a bit flimsy but it doesn’t affect the rods performance.
