I have a few Halo Skull Caps and am pleased with the quality - but they're expensive. Please note the sewing of this cap leaves a bit to be desired, especially on the tails. However in relation to the price these are a great value. As a person who is incredibly heat intolerant and sweats like a monsoon during the dog days of summer these particular caps make sense on multiple levels.* 100% Cotton breathes and allows for natural evaporation for cooling off* The sewn in headband is great - I prefer this over the rubber diverter in Halo caps - both work equally well at keeping perspiration out of your eyesThis skull cap is much like the Halo Protex Skull cap because it's larger and has ties which I like. Those caps run very, very tight. These have a looser fit and can easily be adjusted. I'm a head shaver and like that I can make the cap as tight or loose as I like which is something most skull caps don't allow.Pure cotton is light and airy so you get used to the fit that serves you best in no time. Plus unlike the rubber sweat diverters the built in terry sweat band is more comfortable and doesn't leave a red mark on your forehead which takes a bit of time to disappear.Perfect for under a helmet, a bike ride, or just hanging out on a hot day these really do perform as promised. Again, the finishing and stitch quality aren't anything to write home about put in relation to price these are an excellent buy. Remember, cotton shrinks. Only hand wash or machine wash on cool settings and never use the dryer, always air dry.

My husband does carpentry work and often ties a bandanna around his head to keep the sun from burning the top (he's mostly bald) when it's too hot or inconvenient to wear a ball cap. I bought him two of these to try since they are form fitting. The one with the flames is a fairly thick material and has a sewn-in sweat band, the white one is a very light cottony material with no sweat band. He likes both of them and I will be purchasing a few more. Not only do these stay on better than a bandanna, they also protect the back of his neck from the sun with a little flap of material. My husband has a large head - these fit nicely with a little wiggle room (I imagine those with hair may find them a little more snug.)

This was the only doorag I could find that's 100% cotton AND has the sweatband in the front! Hubby is very happy with this one. I ordered a second one!

I bought this for my husband and he wasn't thrilled with it. The material is stiff, as if somewhat added a ton of starch to it. It was somewhat on the large size and he doesn't have a small head either. I washed this with a lot of fabric softener hoping it would soften up but it didn't happen. I should have returned it but I guess it will sit in his dresser drawer for the moment.

riding in the winter months down in the south east of our fair nation, i use a balaclavato keep my head and neck warm and have gotten used to the fit and feel of something onmy head under the helmet... the helmet feels a little looser with a naked head underthe helmet... tried just using an old bandana i had and it just din't feel that greatplus ya have to muck with the bandana little too much when yer putting it on after havinghad it on, reshaping it and all... so thought i'd go on a search for a 'head wrap' andcame across this and others on amazon... put my decision on this one and another... thisparticular one feels great under the helmet and no big deal taking it off and putting itback on... highly recommend!

Was happy to see Amazon carried these skull caps...since we live in Tx,and when my husband mows,or just out working in the yard..(me too:) he really needed this...Our neighbor mentioned them,and couldnt find any...so I did my little search,and tada,here they are!Bought him one too....next review..idnt realize this review was for both headgears..:) My neighbor loves his,too...he was so surprised I found one..!Amazon is the BEST!

I'm an avid scuba diver and bought this to wear in the water to protect my scalp from sunburn. I'm not bald, but my hair is thin enough that the sun easily gets through. This solved that problem and at a low enough price that if it gets swept off and lost in a wave, I'm not out a substantial amount of money. So far, it has fit very well and has not had any issues with coming off, and I have a larger than average noggin.

This is a very good product. The material is durable. It stays on well. The strings on the back could be a bit longer because it is not so easy to tie.I have washed this now about 60 times. It just gets wrinkled, it does not shrink, it does not rip. It is quite good.

Good quality. No loose threads. Washes very well and no colours bled. If it's anything like a previous one, it will wash 300 times and still look great but feel even better.
