Nice quality straightener
I really like this straightener it works well and it has a nice feel to it. It is a little bigger than the straightener I use regularly so in that respect it's slightly harder to work with. It comes in a nice box and it heats up quickly so overall it's a product I would recommend.

Not for my thin hair. Not made out of actual gold
I ordered the Aria Beauty Top Shelf 2” Rose Gold Infrared Ceramic Straightener, Tourmaline Plates. It comes in a really fancy box that looks "rich". I'm going to keep it for my son since it looks like money, but it's their brand. It opens in a unique way. This is a larger straightener and has black and rose gold colored plates. I have to admit, I thought this was made out of a mixture of actual rose gold by the way it reads and the box which is all about money/value. It's simply a fancy way to say the color which just looks like copper to me Maybe I'm the only one who thought this because of the price tag, and I'm gullible. I figured even a teeny, tiny amount of real rose gold mixed in somewhere would make this extra cool, but that's not the case. Lol This has a really nice grip, but it's easy to get it to look dirty due to the outside material if you're working with products and makeup. It heats up fast, and has an automatic shutoff. Now, this really isn't great for my thin hair. Mine is extra thin and past the middle of my back. When I was straightening I felt like it was ripping my hair and snagging even though it was completely combed out. I also felt like squeezing it one handed did not close it tight enough on my thin hair and I needed literally two hands to press it down hard to actually get it to straighten. When I put my entire head of hair in a long ponytail and flat iron it that way, it has no problem straightening with one hand and closes tight enough. It is possible that this is just a defect on mine and they are not all like that, but if they are, very thin-haired people may be disappointed. Because I only straighten my hair in a long ponytail for the most part, I can make this work, but it's not my favorite straightener. The box is 5 stars since my young son feels like it's a present.

Top shelf, impressive packaging...and the straightener works great!
I got this as a surprise for my wife and she was blown away. The packaging alone had her super-excited with how rich it looks and the fancy way it opens and the presentation of the straightener inside. She loves how well it works on her hair (medium body, shoulder length) and how easy it is to use. Lots of settings to fine tune the way it works, nice wide handles for easy control. The plates are super smooth and her hair never gets caught as she is moving the straightener through it. She likes how it locks closed for storage. It's a tiny bit heavier than any other straighteners she's ever owned but that just indicates better materials in the construction and it has a swivel cord which helps the cord stay out of the way. I think her favorite feature is that when she powers it up it goes to the exact temp setting she uses automatically. All her previous straighteners had to be reset from zero each time it was turned on. I'm not sure it's worth $200 but time will tell. All in all, we recommend this.

Heats up fast. A little heavy. Works wonderfully.
Aria's top shelf straightener will likely become a fast favorite in my house. The box that it arrives in is tacky. Like, super tacky, like they're begging for you to consider their device professional by putting it into a box wrapped up in money. 🤮 The straightener, however, really is exceptional. The plates are smooth, and there are no places for your hair to get caught in the edges. The controls are on the handle, and unlike a lot of high end straighteners, it does include a clip that locks it closed. When powered on, the visible Infared lights that emit light from both sides of the plates, and it heats up quickly to the default 355°F. It glides through blown out type 4 hair and gets it bone straight in one swipe. The swivel cord makes it easy to maneuver, even though the straightener is a little bit heavy. The texture is like a soft rubberized grip that will likely show its age over time. The digital readout makes it easy to see what the temperature is. The cord isn't as long as what you see on professional flat irons though - it's 8.5' instead of the 9' that's on many pro irons. Also, though it's a step up from the cheap cords you'll find on lesser hair appliances, it's not a rounded cord - it's oval. All around, it's a great device that produces wonderful results. 4.5, but I can't leave half stars.

Pretty and heats up quickly.
I’ve been in need of a straightener since an unfortunate fall broke the last one. This has proven to be a sizable upgrade over my last one. This company really went all in on the packaging which honestly has been lost on me and is a little bit gaudy imo, but the straightener is quickly becoming my favourite. The black and rose gold are very pretty although I can see it stripping through long-term use. It heats up in under a minute, has controls to allow for 5-degree changes between 265-450 degrees, and shuts off automatically after an hour. There is a little switch/clip at the bottom that allows you to minimize the space between the plates which is nice for thinner parts of the hair. Additionally, the cord is comfortably long, and I can walk around my room and get something without worry. My hair feels so soft and bouncy after straightening and I don’t worry as much about heat damage. This is a great straightener; I have no complaints thus far!

The right choice
I actually bought FIVE different straighteners before I found this one. & this is the one. I have long, thick hair and everything else I’ve tried has taken me way too long to do just one strand of hair, even chi wasn’t doing the job. This heats up in seconds and cut the time down to a third of what it was taking me to straighten my hair. I also live in the Deep South, where humidity is a monster but I can tell with this straightener I also experience much less frizz. Don’t go with a cheaper option, buy this. You won’t regret it. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner.

So far so good!
I just replaced my CHI hair straightener after having it for a whopping 17 years. I researched which ones were rated the best and this one came up under some category that I can't remember. I am pretty happy with it so far - it definitely keeps my hair way smoother than my old one without barely any smoothing product in it. It heats up fast and I can straighten my curly hair with fewer passes than my old one. it's definitely larger than my old one but it clearly said 2 inches so I'm not shocked by it. Now, if I can get 17 years out of this one I will be doing great!
