She loves this gift. It played perfectly. I only regret buying it cause I’m now forced to watch it ALL. THE. TIME.

I found it stunningly acted by Costner and Houston, and emotionally engaging as well.

This is an older film with vintage Costner. Good music and good overall. I've seen it many times.

I have a very dear friend who is legally blind and 90 % deaf, but she loves this movie, so I got it for her (I have my own copy). she watches it almost every day. that makes her happy and that makes me happy.

I first wanted this many years ago. I have just watched it again - just WOW !!!

This was as advertised and arrived from the UK to Australia in reasonable time. It's regrettable, however, that Australia is not much better served with distribution of books, music and films from international sources, that this and other films are therefore not locally available, and that they are too often only internationally available at grossly inflated prices.This film is a well-crafted balance of a depiction of two very different professions (singer/actor, and bodyguard - each of them lonely in different ways) that integrates music, a harmless stalker fan, and a commissioned assassination attempt. This film was a major turning point in Whitney Houston's career and spawned a hugely successful soundtrack album. It retains its interest as the tragedy of Whitney Houston continues to fascinate her fans and attract re-interpretations - sadly, a not uncommon type of tragedy - and as many other films have since adapted elements of the bodyguard theme.

A former secret service agent now Bodyguard takes a job guarding a well known successful singer and actress who has become the target of a crazed fan and they fall in love. Cheesy but enjoyable romantic thriller that gets very tense in places though it has dated a bit. Very good performance from Kevin Costner as the heroic Bodyguard though Whitney Houston is wooden in her acting debut basically playing herself she's terrific as ever when she sings.

Worked fabulously and love this film

An excellent film with truly outstanding performances by Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.
