We have a really small kitchen with weird sized cabinets and drawers. They are crammed in there with little to no wood space in-between. With some of the cabinets/drawers, I didn't have enough room to apply one of the strap ends to a stationary spot of wood; therefore, in these particular places, the straps just aren't able to secure cabinet/drawer . The straps where I had enough room are really secure though! For my kitchen, it would've been nice to have the option to select a package with more shorter straps (there are 4 large straps and 2 small straps in a package).

Bought these to keep my young toddler from getting into things like the pantry and garbage can. They just kept popping off, and when they did stick, the hole which they adhere to the base becomes damaged quite quickly (which in turn makes it easier to pop the base off too trying to get it off) I regret buying these. I went back to my favorite Munchkin latches.The obvious pro is that they don't leave residue because they don't stick.

We bought these straps 3 months ago and I hate them. In the beginning it was almost impossible for me to unlock them and then they started to loosen up and it was easier for me to use but also easy for my 15 month old to get into. The strap piece where it locks has these little "teeth" which go under the white piece on the lock and these are very easy to stretch and rip as you can see in the images I've added. These happened over a month ago and we had to add more straps to secure the cabinets. We have one on our trash can and a couple of days ago I saw my daughter open it and now she keeps doing it so we had to put the trash in another room until our new locks come in. Do not buy these unless you want to replace them only a few months after buying.

I really like these clear latches. Not only were they incredibly easy to install, but they have successfully kept my 8 month old from getting into any drawers, despite her best effort. I really like that these latches are clear so they don't stick out too badly and that they have a little elasticity to them so it feels comfortable when they're pulled and I'm less concerned they would snap. I am able to unlatch them myself to get into the drawers when I need to without too much hassle. I have not tried to remove them so I can't say if there will be any marks or residue on my cabinet.

While it does hold for the most part, it has the absolute worst smell you could imagine. Imagine that smell of Harbor Freight mixed with the smell of glue and rotten eggs.It smells so bad that I had to move the fan so it wouldn't spread the smell. I also can't touch it because the smell easily gets on hands and clothes.I've tried washing it with a rag, soap, and water. I've tried spraying it with air freshener. Nothing works.

Very easy to install! My one year old can't get through them yet, however I am worried that when she gets older it won't be much of a challenge. The hooks are great but some of the softer plastic pieces seem to fall right off. If you're looking for a quick baby proof for your younger toddler these will work fabulously, but I would not suggest them for ages 3+ as they are too easy to take off.

These do not stick well enough to furniture and also require SO much force to open the first few times, that it pulls the other end right off of the furniture. After a couple of uses, they have all fallen off on at least one end.

I really liked how strong these were. They definitely keep my 16 mo old from getting into drawers and cabinets. I even placed two straps on diagonally on either side of a cabinet that rotates in the corner of my kitchen, due to lack of a stationary adjacent wall that fit the strap size, and they work perfectly. I wish they didn't need 7 days to adhere, bc who is going to be able to not mess with that cabinet/drawer for 7 whole days? But, even with the 7 day full adhesive quote, they still stuck on there pretty well, pretty fast. I liked the variety in the bag, but I did feel that the item was a little over priced, but not by much. All in all, we've bought 3 bags now, so obviously we will continue to buy them if we need more. They're definitely better than anything you could get at any store I know of!
