Great full body
I really like these curlers. I have a perfector curling iron that works well on dry hair. I wanted to see if these curlers would work just rolling after a shower and going to bed. They are a little unfortable to sleep on, but boy did it give me wonderful full curls that lasted all day. They are cheap and the satin is fraying, but other than that, the results are great. My husband even noticed, which is rare.

Not good quality
The satin cover will fray. Hair slips off roller so not necessary.

They come apart just like all others of this design & just when UR trying to roll up hair :-(
Not as good as I’d hoped they’d be. Wish someone would create this design where they didn’t fall apart as you R rolling them up!!! I’m going to try a tiny amount of ‘silicone cement’ in the track where this design of rollers always fall apart to see if it helps to stop that issue. Grrrrr!!! Silcone cement is cheap (find in hardware stores/ by the plumbing items...used in wet applications) come in an easy to squeeze tube, apply verrry sparingly in that small track for the little bar that comes out, silicone cement or rubber cement can flex. Otherwise, like them.

No thanks.
The rollers are a great price, but not for what you’re getting. Roller sponge is fine, but the fabric is crudely fitted on and will fray. The clip mechanic- maybe I’m doing it wrong but it’s very hard to clip it in and secure because the little clip part comes completely off. For me this is incredibly difficult to use especially behind my head. I wouldn’t buy again.

Natural Hair Must Have
These rollers are a necessity for preserving my curls during the week. I have chin length, Afro natural type 4 curly hair. One way I style my natural hair is to roller set it using perm rods to achieve a curly Afro. Though my style always comes out pretty the first day I had been unable to get my hairstyle to last longer than 1 day. My curls would become flattened and misshapen when I slept. Now I use these 5/8 inch satin covered foam rollers to re-roll sections of my hair around the perimeter of my head where I sleep. The satin really protects my hair and I love that I don’t have to use end papers. Because the rollers are so soft I get a really good night’s sleep and I wake up to perfect curls. I haven’t had any unsnapping issues with these rollers. These perform so much better than the foam rollers without satin as they don’t pull my hair. No need to use end papers and saves so much time. Now my curls last 5 -6 days . I’m going to order 2 more packs to have on backup just in case.

Poorly made
These are terrible. The satan is not completely covering them so they slip right or left after wrapping my hair around them. I guess you get what you pay for these are cheaply made.

Love the satin, hate the plastic clamps!
Actually the satin covered foam roller is excellent and deserves a 5 star rating. However, the flimsy plastic clamps, which come apart easily, made me give this product a 3 star rating. My hair is thinning at the present time, so the clamps work to an extent. As my hair grows and thickens the clamps will break apart even more. I have foam rollers (without satin covers) purchased years ago with sturdy clamps which I've replaced Diane's as they break. I ordered twelve of these rollers and they work well...I have to re-aligned the satin on some of them as they do 'ride' up. I've had no problem with unraveling as I noticed other customers mentioned...probably because I handle them and my hair with utmost care.
