Rubber Helmet, hot, but it fit.
Rubber helmet, fit my small 7 year old head. Hot as heck not a good idea for summer.

Floppy, rubber helmet
This is a floppy rubber helmet. It appears to be a regular helmet, but it's not. It wasn't bad looking, but not what I expected. It was a more snug fit than I was expecting, probably because of the helmet not being a hard form.

Buyer Beware!! Not the right product!!
Posting this review as soon as I found out because I don't want anyone else to receive the wrong item. I ordered the helmet, but received a shield instead. I contacted the seller and was told that the manufacturer has replaced the helmet with a shield, but has kept the product number the same. With Halloween so close, I didn't want someone else to order this and get the wrong item.For what it's worth, the shield is nice - but my son made his and we don't need one. I was given a full refund (and am allowed to keep the shield) and the seller was very apologetic and handled the situation very quickly and to my full satisfaction. Being how things are, though, I don't know when they'll be able to make the change on Amazon so wanted to warn people here.

Poor quality material, came in falling apart
I just got this in yesterday and was SO disappointed. The helmet is a rubber-ish material and it had tears all over the brim when it came in. Basically it is crumbley and falling apart. The worst part is I cant return it because I'm concerned about being able to get a new one in time for Halloween so I'm having to tell my very excited 5 year old he can't play with it because if he did it would never make it long enough to wear trick-or-treating. I was so bummed to see the heartbroken look on his face. This is a very poor quality product and definitely not worth the price.

Given wrong item
I was given a shield as well instead of the helmet and thankfully I could go out and but one before Halloween this year, this could have really messed up my son"a costume and he was really excited about it. No point in returning it now as I wouldn't be able to get it in time for Halloween.
