This cooler does what they say it does. I was not sure about it lowing my oil temp by 25-30 degrees, but it does. I pull a 300lb cargo trailer with my Harley 103. It was almost 100 degrees and my oil temp stayed at 225. It normally ran 250 without pulling the trailer. Very nice product. I didn’t use the hose clamps that came with it I put spring bands on. Also I torque the oil filter adapter to 12 ft lbs. Absolutely no leaks. The spring bands I bought off Amazon. Great product when installed properly. I read some people had leaks so I hope my info helps folks. Highly recommend in hot climates. Pricey but worth it😀😎.

I have two Sportsters. I installed the HD cooler on one and this cooler on the other. This one is WAY better than the HD cooler.This Jagg cooler has a built-in thermostat that bypasses cold oil so the cooler doesn't further-cool the oil. In fact, if your oil is less than approx 180F, the cooler feels cold as there is no oil going through it.However, when the temp is over the 90s and you're riding hard, this keeps the oil around 200F. On hot, hard-riding days, this cooler has dropped my oil temp 25 degrees.The Jagg cooler came with all the parts I needed for the install. I did it with just normal tools; I didn't need anything special.This cooler is great; I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on the HD cooler.

Bought this from Powersports Superstore. It is reasonably easy to install yourself. If you can do your own oil change, you can install this. It takes about 30 minutes to and hour to do depending on whether you have everything you need . Also take time to read the instructions thoroughly. Be sure everything is tightened securely before starting engine after install is done. It dropped my running oil temperature from 225* down to 200* so it was well worth the time and money. You might also want to look into buying the hose kit. This upgrades the hose and connectors, but only to make it look more custom. The basic hoses and clamps that come with it will do the job just fine.
