Works GREAT!!!
This little tool was SUPER helpful in my Audi A4 carbon cleaning. Kept everything nice and clean and was very simple to use. My only suggestions are that you need to be sure your media blaster's tip will fit inside the hole and you may need a small adapter for your "shop-vac." The tool is made for 1 ½” (40mm), but my shopvac hose was like 2". Adapter was less than $10 and I'm thrilled with results.

Product was perfect. Be sure your home compressor has enough CFM to run the walnut blast fitting. My 4/5 CFM home one was inadequate. Was doing carbon clean on VW gti.

Great tool for media blasting your port and valves
Does a great job containing your walnut blast material. The choice of media blaster really determines how well the walnut media cleans the port and valves. Helps ifIt is smaller and easily maneuverable with a simple on/off system. I used this with two people which really helps keep this adapter secured while I blasted

Right tool for the job
I was debating between the 3d printed one and the aluminum one, and glad I went with this one.It worked great - the mating surface was smooth enough so my shop vac's suction (5 gal Rigid) held it in place.There was a little leakage of blasting media, but nothing too horrible.To the manufacturer:Might I suggest a latex/silicone/rubberized layer on the mating surface of the tool, to create a better seal with a users shop vac?

Design works well solo!
Was able to do the blasting without a helper by gently screwing some M6 screws with washers to the flange around the adapter (see pic). Note that this flange also interferes with the injectors, so I removed the injector and shaved a 5/16 wood dowel with sandpaper in a drill press to use as a plug. Festool 36mm hose fit tightly, and used the 20lb Harbor Freight pressurized blaster at 100psi with a 20 gallon CH / Home Depot compressor. I used the blast nozzle tips that came with the blaster and that worked well together with some manual scraping of the shrouded areas behind the valve with a 90deg pick.
