Got these traps and set them both in place the afternoon I got them. When I checked a few hours later both traps had been triggered with a large dead rat caught in one of them. Did a brilliant job. Quick, clean and efficient. Obviously be vary carefull setting these in place once armed as they are very powerful so be sure to keep them away from any children or pets. Secured in place by a length of wire to ensure the trap cannot be moved or lost if triggered.

So long as you are careful setting it because the spring is very powerful, could easily break a finger I should think. Keep away from kids! I tended to use these at night along the evident rat run outdoors and managed to catch 3 rats. Removed the traps during the day cos didn't want to trap birds or have kids find them in my garden. I tended to move them around because I'm sure the rats get to know where they are and avoid them! Used in conjunction with rat poison in boxes has solved our rat problem!

Well, I've waited a while before reviewing because I wanted to see the effectiveness of the product. The products are snappy. If you set it off yourself and get your fingers caught in them then it flipping hurts, so the quality of them are pretty good. But ... I loaded with cheese, pushing the cheese into the recepticle to ensure the rat had to stand on and trigger the trap to get at it. Well, I had to load it several times as the rat would ignore it but after a while when checking it to see if I need to reload it I noticed the cheese had gone. The trap had not triggered but it still took the cheese! So, after all this wait it appears that the trigger is useless. I'll reload and wait but not hopeful.

I like mice as pets, but unfortunately not as unpaying guests. Some time ago, I caught some live in a humane trap - but that's pointless as it's illegal to release them near residental areas (I took them on a freedom outing to the woods instead). So really they have to be killed :( The mice I catch are really small, about 2inches in length, so really don't weigh very much. When I initally set these traps they were easily able to eat their trace peanut butter last supper and vanish without triggering the trap. With my mechanical mindset (which undertood not to get fingers trapped when setting), I just bluetacked a pound coin just past the pivot point of the seesaw sufficiently increasing the sensitivity. Mousey caught had a cute non-stressed expression on his/her face, the bar had come down on the tummy. But no bodily damage, and nothing that would upset the squeamish. Just imagine you've seen someone prepared at the undertakers and not at the morgue (or on TV, since every second programme shown these days is of someone's grizzly death) Anyway, with mousey carried to the back of the garden and dumped over the rear wall, he/she will make a nice meal for the remaining wildlife that frequents this place (magpies, crows, foxes) These traps are sufficiently constructed for the purpose.

Great for the job of catching rats. A good idea is to fasten the traps onto a length of wood to keep them better in place

Habíamos visto en el campo alguna que otra y decidimos decantarnos por la trampa de toda la vida. La compramos un poco con dudas porque muchos comentarios eran bastante negativos diciendo que si habia venido rota o que no servía de mucho. En nuestro caso con mantequilla de cacahuete como indicaba la etiqueta, la probamos y siempre que la ponemos cae alguna. Tenemos 2 y si no es en una en la otra aparece alguna al día siguiente. Seguramente compremos más, por el precio que tiene merece la pena, es muy fácil de usar y el bote de mantequilla sirve para muchisimas veces y es muy económico. En cuanto al tamaño del animal, atrapa de tamaño medio, que son las que hemos visto por aquí, no sé en tamaños mayores como irá pero para algo normal funciona perfectamente.

Zweimal hab ich die Falle nicht gut aufgestellt,hat zwar ausgelöst aber war nix drin,dann nach dem dritten versuch hab ich endlich glück gehabt und eine Ratte ist drin gewesen. Ich muss dazu sagen ich hab die Falle zur Wand hin aufgestellt und die anderen beiden male nicht deswegen hat es das dritte mal geklappt ,nun hab ich die Falle wieder scharf gestellt mal sehen ob wieder eine rein tappt. Aber sonst Funktioniert alles wunderbar auch mit dem auslösen klappt es gut ,die Vicher sind halt nicht komplett verblödet aber trotzdem klappt es 👍🏻

Fare biraz küçükse mekanizma çalışmıyor. Fareler koyduğum yemleri yiyip gidiyor. Mekanizmayı tetikleyen farenin bastığı nokta için gereken güç(ağırlık) miktarı sanırım yüksek.
