AUZKIN Portable Cooling Fan

The backstsory: I spend my entire workday reading documents on the computer screen and my hands and feet are unnaturally and constantly cold. If someone used an IR camera to take a picture of me, my hands and feet probably just wouldn't show up at all. They're like ice cubes. It's truly painful.Usually I'm not actively typing so I can keep my left hand warm by sitting on it or by putting a heating pad in my lap. My right hand however, has to stay on the mouse to click through pages and it is always miserable. I had a very effective but unattractive space heater but after a few years of faithful service it died. In the process of replacing it, I saw this narrow space heater and thought that it might actually fit in the pull-out keyboard tray/drawer to get the heat directly to my hands. Unfortunately lying on its side, it was a smidge too big for that. It did fit nicely on top of the desk right below my iMac screen though, so it was a reasonably good solution and it looked good too.Fast forward a month or so - my husband who is a truly wonderful man and also very handy - found a solution... he built a shelf for the heater inside of the desk, drilled holes in the back of the desk so the heater would have adequate ventilation/intake, and drilled a hole in the bottom of the shelf so I could access the off/on switch. That pointed the warmth EXACTLY at my right hand and it was perfect. So perfect in fact, that my left hand got jealous. My daughter bought me a second fan of this type as a Christmas gift, my husband drilled a couple more holes, added it under the desk, and then plugged it into a smart socket so I can control the on/off through my cell phone instead of crawling on the ground to switch it manually.Work or no work, my desk is my new happy place! The photo shows both heaters inside the desk - he put a little piece of foam under each so the warmth would be fully directed at my hands.

I wanted to purchase another space heater like one I had purchased for work, but that one was not available. This one looks exactly the same with same controls, size, and design, so I figured it was the same with just a different name. While all those features do match, the heat output differs profoundly. This one barely generates heat and its fairly short cord means I can’t warm my feet at the dinner table, the reason I purchased it.When I put it higher and aim it directly at my chest or face, it warms somewhat better than when on the floor. So if you truly want a desk heater to aim higher, this will probably work for you. You must have a nearby outlet though because of its short cord.

I bought this heater after reading several positive reviews on Amazon, and was a bit skeptical at first of how effective it would be because of its compact size. After having used it now for close to a month, I can say that I'm extremely impressed and satisfied with how this heater has performed. Although its on the smaller side, it does a great job of providing enough heat to warm up my entire workspace. I use it on top of my work desk which is in the basement, so it gets a bit chilly down there. This heater keeps me nice and warm, which prevents me from having to run the whole home heater just to keep me warm in the basement. Saves on bills!Overall a great little capable heater, and excellent build quality at a very reasonable price point. Highly recommended if you are looking for a personal space heater!

I bought this heater December 10, 2020 and it stopped working so quickly. By December 21,2021 I had already purchased another heater from a different company and had it delivered. I wouldn’t buy this heater again. I don’t know if it was a malfunction or what but it gave out so quickly. Very disappointing.

I was surprised to see how tiny (very tiny) this heater is but it's mighty. It's in hubby's office and it warms the room right up. We haven't had it long. Hopefully it lives for a handful of years. For the size of it, it seems overpriced.

The heater is great to heat up our living room. It rotates so great can move through the entire room. I really like that it can let vertical or horizontal depending where I want to place it in the house.

Dont buy unless using it for small space.

I love this heater! I work in an open office with outdated heating and am always freezing. I plugged this in the moment I got it and it’s been a life saver. I leave it under my desk and the heat blows up at me and keeps me toasty warm. It’s so efficient and isn’t loud or disruptive at all. I wish I’d purchased it a long time ago!
