Cat Cone - Post-Surgery Protection Kit for Kittens & Cats - Soft, Comfy, Adjustable, Cotton Cone (S, Pink)

Both my kittens wore this cone after their surgery. My male is a maine coon and it fit him well. It is easy to use, soft and stretchy.My cat preferred this cone to the normal vet one as he was able to eat and drink with it on. He kept the cone on and was happy to sleep in it.However, he was still able to take it off if he wanted to. I didn't find this to be a problem as he would stay in it for the most part, and stayed in it a lot longer than when he used the vet issued plastic cone.Overall, it looks cute, is soft and comfy for the cat. And it doubles as a toy, my cats like to play with it now as if it were a cuddly toy

More comfortable than a plastic cone especially when to be worn daily like it is by my cat who has to wear this and an outfit due to over grooming and he manages to go about his life happy and comfortable.

Looks awesome on my cat Dave, it’s super soft and he doesn’t mind wearing it whereas he hated a normal medical collar. It stops him licking himself after he had surgery on his belly. He can still get to his hind legs to lick them, so bear that in mind. It’s simple to clean as well. Great product

Super cute and hilarious but also stops kitten from being able to get to her stitches after being spayed but still let's her groom other areas - when it stays on that is! For a calmer kitty it would be great but our fiesty donut head has mastered removing it, she mainly just sees it as a toy and chomps and attacks it both on and off her head. So it doesn't really work for us but I can see it would be great for less of a demon

Great product, arrived on time, good quality. Fits perfect and still allows cat to eat, drink and move about. Definately better than a cone and more comfortable. Recomend this.

as adorable as it looked on my kitten the circumference of the donut is too small and she very quickly discovered she could still lick her incision wound. looks adorable but cat would have to be tiny for it to do the job (my girl is only 3kg)

Okay, so I bought this as a 'backup' in case the post-op cat pajamas were a bust. *Spoiler alert* They were.So we deployed the donut. In contrast to the hissing clawing biting fit my cat threw at the first sight of the pajamas, she seemed intrigued by the donut. And was quite happy to poke her head on through the hole in pursuit of a piece of chicken.She doesn't seem to mind it too much, uses it as a pillow and after a couple of days has started washing it as if it has become part of her now.The donut loses 1 star because she is still able to reach her stitches with some crazy contortionist bull***t, but hasn't been able to cause any damage.She also looks hella cute wearing it.

Ich bin echt überrascht: die Katze lässt es an! Sie schläft damit sehr entspannt und auch Füttern funktioniert gut. Beim Trinken wird es ein bisschen nass, aber das stört eigentlicht nicht. Für den Preis ist der Kragen gut verarbeitet, sieht süß aus und stinkt auch nicht nach Chemie o.Ä. Habe es noch nicht probiert, aber der kann bestimmt auch gut gewaschen werden.Wir haben Größe S bestellt. Passt gut, der Verschluss mit dem Bändchen finde ich eine sehr gute Lösung.Falls ihr eure Katze davon abhalten möchtet sich mit der hinteren Pfote am Gesicht zu kratzen, nehmt vielleicht besser Größe M

Bei unserer Katze, 6 Monate, 2,6kg war Größe S genau richtig.Im Gegensatz zu den Plastiktrichtern ist mit dem Dounat immerhin ein bisschen Fellpflege möglich. Dieser Kragen sitzt auch deutlich angenehmer als die üblichen Plastiktrichtern.Wir haben ihm immer so fest gezogen, dass man noch einen Finger drunter schieben kann. Die Katze bekommt ihn aber nicht wieder ausgezogen (und das hat sie anfangs sehr intensiv probiert). Wichtig ist aber noch zu beachten, dass man ein Lösen des Zugbands verhindert. Der montierte Druckknopf ist zwar eine gute Idee, hält aber Null. Drei bis vier Knoten in dem Zugseil und der Kragen bleibt so eng wie eingestellt. Wenn man das nicht macht, kann man den Kragen trotz Arretierung wieder ausziehen.Die Bewegungsfreiheit der Katze ist mit dem Dounat natürlich viel größer als mit einem Trichter. Deswegen eignet er sich z.b. nicht um bei Katern die Kastrationswunde zu schützen. Da würde jeder Kater noch dran kommen. Als Schutz nach der Kastration einer Katze ist er aber ideal, denn die Wunde wird von unserer sehr gelenkigen Katze nicht erreicht

Es sieht schön aus, aber meine Katze ist trotzdem an ihre Wunde gekommen..

Ich bin wirklich sehr positiv überrascht vom Donut-Kragen, er schützt die Ohr OP - Naht von meinen Kaninchen super vorm kratzen und ist viel bequemer als ein Plastikkragen, sie können damit besser fressen und sich durch den Raum bewegen. Vom Partnertier wird er auch gut akzeptiert. Alma wiegt 2,3kg und trägt Größe S (rosa) Alice wiegt 1,5kg und trägt Größe XS (braun)Kann ich nur empfehlen für diese Anwendung (Ohr OP, Augen usw). Wenn man Wunden am Körper vorm lecken/knabbern schützen möchte, kommt es sehr auf die Stelle an ob es damit funktioniert.

Wir hatten einen Trichter vom Tierarzt bekommen, welcher unsere Katze partout nicht tragen wollte. Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative bin ich auf dieses Produkt gestoßen. Am Anfang war ich sehr skeptisch, ob der Donut tatsächlich seinen Sinn erfüllt. Ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht worden. Unsere Katze hatte am Kopf zwei ziemlich große Wunden. Durch dieses Produkt konnte sie sich die Stellen nicht mehr aufkratzen und war nicht wirklich in ihrer Bewegung etc. eingeschränkt. Essen und zur Toilette gehen, funktionierte ohne Probleme. Die Wunden sind sehr gut verteilt. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Lieferung war schnell und unkompliziert. Faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
