This is a great purchase and a good value for the money. Works as advertised & built well. Speaker is decent & brings the sound of the radio closer to your ear, allowing operation at lower volume & providing better clarity in loud environments for both transmission & reception. Mic. also makes operation easier while using Transceiver with large field antennas because it eliminates the need to pick up unit; it can now be operated from a desktop position or while seated in the desktop charger. Operates flawlessly.

Works great used by multiple people on different shifts

If you think you're getting a deal, think again. This is a $10 shoulder mic, and it feels and sounds exactly like a $10 mic would feel and sound. There is no value here, no special find. It is entirely unremarkable, unimpressive, and worth not one penny more than $10. This is a muted, tinny, super low rent mic, and as long as you understand this is the walmart DVD bin equivalent of a shoulder mic, you won't be disappointed. But if you think you're getting a good deal, you are not. You are getting exactly what you paid for.

I am a first responder, I also Work roadside details in inclement weather. This microphone holds true to all the claims. I have this hooked up to a Baofeng Uv-5r it is crisp. It’s clear people can hear me on the other end just fine and I also play my FM radio through it from my portable works great I have used this for a while now through all types of inclement weather, rain, snow sleet, high winds it is a great product.

PROS: Great sound quality and good construction. CON: Once you move the cord the sound/volume is gone until you plug the connector back in or shake cord. Really wanted this to work!

Excellent speaker/mike for the money. Good fit with the TIDRADIO H-3. Received audio quality is equal or better than the HT, as the speaker is pretty large. Be aware when transmitting that the microphone is toward the upper part of the face, and the speaker itself is the larger lower portion.

Microphone worked great with my HT. Audio reports indicated it had good volume and reports on my transmissions were clear to understand.

Overall this speaker mic is pretty good. The speaker in it seems to be of good quality and the sound that it produces is good, easy to understand what is being said on the radio. The mic in it picks up your voice very well and according to everyone that I talked with on the radio, I sounded good while talking. The transmit button on it is easy to find without looking at it and has enough tension on it that you don't accidentally key up the radio. But the button is easy to push for transmitting. So you don't have to worry about if you're pushing the transmit button hard enough to actually transmit. It plugs into the baofeng radio that I have good and securely. The cord has enough tension to the coils that it stays close to your body so that it's not flopping around to catch on anything. But the tension isn't so much that it tries to pull the mic or radio off of where you have positioned them. The missing button was on the mic when I receive the speaker mic and unpacked it. But by the time I made it from home to my first job site, the button disappeared somehow. The button that is missing is another transmit button for the mic. The end of the clip that I circled isn't really designed properly. It is a bit short from the pivot point and makes it fairly challenging to open the clip so that you can clip it to your shirt collar with the amount of spring tension that it has.
