Ended up purchasing two of these. One for a compact car, another for a family van.Both the cup-holder mount and vent mount are high quality. I wanted to use the cup holder mount in my compact, but I have an old-school manual shifter, and the cup holder mount blocked an easy reach to the shifter - so I had to use the vent.I like the vent mount because in addition to the tension in the "clipper" part of the mount, there is a turn-key that can tighten this clip and makes it extremely secure. I have had a number of vent mounts in the past that either can't be removed easily once they are installed, or simply don't remain in position very long. My last vent mount had to be readjusted nearly every trip.However, this vent mount is fantastic and stays put. The quality of the materials feels very solid - nothing flimsy here. The qi charging is great too - don't need to fiddle around with the phone to get the back to line up.

UPDATE: My 1st unit worked 2 days (charged spurratically, then would not open or close at all). Contacted MPOW and they sent a replacement very rapidly. The second one did the exact same thing. Died within 2 days. Suggestion for future buyers...dont turn off your car before removing phone from charger or the unit will no longer work after that, my outlet is connected to car power) In theory, this is a great unit, but has some glitches. Contacted MPOW for the second failure and no response.This unit is great! It has a lot of features. Love the adjustable height and movement on the cup holder mount. The vent clip is strong. I love the feature that it automatically clamps down on the phone once you place it.

Why do I say that? Because actually trying this thing in my car with the recommended car charger was pretty much moot.I say this because trying the phone charger itself, it doesn't seem to work. Or it DID at some point before overall just not working anymore. It wasn't treated any differently (if anything with good care), the cables were proper (the one that came with the set), the phone was uncased as well to see if it would work any better (I had rather thin case) and DIRECT CONTACT didn't even work.I'm kinda disappointed, they're asking a lot for it and it doesn't even do the thing it's SUPPOSED to do! You're better off really buying yourself something from a different manufacturer, because I did everything right to the point from making sure even voltages were correct, and nothing. Why buy a wireless charger if its not going to even wirelessly charge?I see all the rest of these people highly rate this item, saying its useful to which is why I got one so what happened with my product exactly? Did I just end up with a dud? In any case, item isn't great because it doesn't do the charging but I'll admit the construction of the stand is pretty stable but not worth the investment.

Loved this thing until the wireless charging stopped working a few months in. Then the auto-close stopped working. Then it started to make this low level hissing, static sound whenever it's plugged in. I think it's possessed. Do they all do this?

Just got it, so hard to fully evaluate, but it works great for fast wireless charging of my Galaxy S10+. Using the cupholder mount in a subcompact car, expected it to be hard to fit, but quite good. Arm auto-close and the button-activated open work well so far.

So far so good... something that i wanted for a long time... time will tell how happy i will be, but now 10x

I loved this product. But after about 4 months it stopped charging. What a bummer. I still use it as a mount but the charging was a huge plus
