GiroCadet Cycling Shoe - Men's

Finally found a true 10.5 size bicycling shoe - but only 3-bolt cleats can be used
I bought 8 different brands of bicycling shoes in a size US 10.5 or EU 44 and only the Giro shoes were true to size. Some were a 9.7 sold as a EU 44 or a some other sizing that resulted in a shoe that was much too short. As I have been buying EU 44 shoes and boots for decades the problem is with the shoe manufacturers. The Giro Cadet feel like having a custom built shoe for my feet and fit like a glove. Although Giro is a California company the shoe last is comparable to Italian shoes and is a better fit for people with normal D width feet. Most of the shoes have a shoe last that is like those found with German boots and best for people with wide feet. The only downside to gthe Giro road shoes is that they only work with 3-pin cleats like the ones for Look and Shimano SPD-L pedals. I went from metal cleats on my bike shoes that were like wearing funny tap shoes when off the bike to the 2-bolt SPD pedals and cleats and no more tap dancing when off the bike and no worries going up or down stair or walking on hard surfaces. When looking for new shoes for use with my road bikes I found that 90% of the shoes were 3-bolt only and so I needed, as with the Giro shoes, to buy some SPD-L pedals and the SPD-L cleats and the special rubber "booties" to go over the cleats when off the bike to keep from falling on my butt.

Great pair of cleats
Cleats look really nice. I just hope they hold up to the test of time.

Can't beat the quality and the price!
Excellent fit! Quality of the product is very good. Several hundred miles later, still satisfied with my purchase.

Comfortable, Fast, and Stylish - much like myself
Fore the past couple of years, I've been riding my road bike and rocking some Giro shoes, but always a hybrid shoe meant for mountain biking and walking. I really liked the look of these, and since I knew my size in a Giro shoe, I was reasonably sure they were going to fit well.I wasn't wrong. At all. I was so right, it started to feel like it was wrong to be so right. But I wear a 9.5 and the 44 fits perfectly, so if you are planning to get a Giro shoe, that sort of conversion should work out pretty well.In the end, this shoe is just amazing. Super comfortable, easy to get on and off, and it took about 3 minutes to get my cleats installed and set up on the bike. I recommend these shoes for sure.

Great feel
These are super comfortable and I love the BOA system to get it just the right tightness with no laces. Easy on and off.I wear a size 9 and slightly on the wide side. I went with the 9.5 (euro 43) and the width is perfect, length is slightly too long but it doesn't slip in the heel. A 9 might have worked but I read it might have been too narrow so I opted for a half size up.

Perfect fit
The BOA system is fantastic, making micro adjustments are worth the extra $$$. Shoes are great if you have wide feet
