This is a beautifully packaged gift set from Creano comprising a small, glass teapot together with 5 different blooming teas to try. I do like green tea and I do have a preference for flavoured green tea so I was interested to see how this little teapot (large enough for two average-sized cups) fared, along with tasting the sample flowering teas. Firstly, the teapot is small but is the size I expected. It would hold enough tea for one mug or two average tea cups. If you use the flowering tea balls, these can actually be used 2 or 3 times (but remember each time you brew then the result will be somewhat weaker than the first cup). The teapot itself is lightweight and looks very fragile - it looked more like a glass ornament than a solid piece of kitchen equipment. It is nicely made though and certainly does the job of brewing tea. Customers will definitely have to take care when handling (and storing) this teapot to prevent breakages. The one part that I felt needed some attention is the lid - it fits perfectly but, unlike standard teapots, does not have a protuding lip at the base to hold it in place. This means, when pouring the tea, you must keep one finger on the knob (the coolest part) at the top otherwise there is a danger the lid will fall off. I tested this with the flowering tea balls and with loose green tea (without using an infuser). The teapot worked fine with the loose tea and naturally needed emptying out afterwards, the same as if I'd used a cup infuser. The flowering tea though was a disappointment. Firstly, it takes a long, long time for the "flowers" to unravel and to brew (more than double the usual brewing time). Secondly, the tea pot just isn't tall enough to cope with the full flower and what is seen mostly is a mess at the bottom of the bottom that looks like "weeds" (it isn't, that is just how I am describing it). Thirdly, whilst these tea balls were nice to drink (even the second brewing was okay) I didn't find they had enough flavour. In many ways I am disappointed with this purchase, it didn't offer me what I'd hoped for a gift set. That being said, I have still given this a 4 star rating because it is fairly priced, matches the seller's description perfectly, and does the job. I would have preferred a pot that was a little taller at least and one that didn't feel quite so fragile. I might use the pot again in the future but likely it will become part of my glass ornament collection.

Brought this for a gift and it is genuinely beautiful. Only used one flower but it bloomed quickly and tastes lovely. Wonderful gift for some who appreciates fruit teas
